Actually, just changing the tax rate will "refresh" your civil order.

Ah. Haven't tried that but even better.
Re: Rhodos 150 BC revolt CTD
about the 6 thing... save something at least 4 turns before 66bc
if a CTD does happen , then load your previous save (67-68bc) and via FD and move_character you have to destroy 3 of the 4 roman factions. (Arche Seleukeia, Baktria, Saba (?), Hayasdan)

Really??
The 60s BC CTD happened to you in EB?
And that's the fix?
Oh well, at least it lets you continue the game then, even though AS, Baktra, Saba and Hayasdan
will become a bunch of Eleutherois.
The 60s BC CTD really ruins your parade.
Re: Rhodos 150 BC revolt CTD
the best way to fix the 66 BC problem, to my knowlege, is illegal. just save before the 66BC begins, and weather it, by turning the script off (at least it works for me)

So based on yours and ||Lz3||'s posts the 66 BC problem does affect EB after all...
I'll try both your suggestions.
With your workaround, how many turns did it take to weather the 66 BC problem?

I don't recall actually. I think a year or two's worth minus script (that's 2-4 turns)

2-4 is not bad, actually.
With another mod (that has similar intentions as EB), once 66 BC strikes it's game over.
And that mod doesn't use any scripts that can be activated or deactivated.
I'm curious as to how deactivating the script helps the problem.
My gut would tell me that since the 66 BC is probably hardcoded in the RTW engine,
a script riding over it would do what it can to get around the problem when activated,
and not vice-versa.
Re: Rhodos 150 BC revolt CTD
66 is hardcoded , and it makes the roman factions go to war with themselves, and since there are no "roman factions" with their proper name (julii scipii brutii) it ctds.
BUT if there's only 1 roman faction left (could be yours)... then there is no other to go to war with
There's also another theory that if you're not one of the roman factions , and even if there's more than 1 roman faction, there's no 66 "civil war"
I'm pretty sure I'm right, but who knows :sweatdrop:
something is for sure you can go past 66 , there's one AAR thatlasted till 44bc (then it got killed by another ctd :wall:,, alexandria one...)

I think that when you try to fight a battle near alexandria it ctds... there's a temporary fix for that though

@||Lz3||
Thanks for all the info you've given in anticipation of the dreaded 66 BC CTD.
One last question for now... What does FD that you mention mean or stand for?
Re: Rhodos 150 BC revolt CTD
force diplomacy , its a minimod located in the minimods forum
