Ive searched around but found no answer for my problem. So thats why im opening a new thread.
FAQ says:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
-At least year 235BC
-Build at least 5 (L5 regional MIC)(royal_barracks_V1) in these cities (Lepki, Garama, Adrumeto, Kirtan, Ippone, Tuat, Siga, Lixus, Sala, Gader, Mastia, Sucum-Murgi, Baikor, Arsé, Oxtraca, Numantia, Emporion, Tyde, Pallantia, Vellika, Tolosa, Massalia, Segesta, Arretium, Ariminum, Roma, Capua, Arpi, Taras, Rhegion)
-Hold 3 of these cities (Tolosa, Massalia, Segesta, Arretium, Ariminum, Roma, Capua, Arpi, Taras, Emporion, Arse, Mastia, Gader)
OR
-Wait until 200BC
Ok. Well, i have all possible mics in these towns: Lepki, Adrumento, Ippone, Gader, Mastia. Its year around 223BC, and also i have most of the mentioned cities. According to FAQ i should already have reformed units: but i get none of them!
Can someone help?

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
You definately have the regional barracks, not the factional ones, right?

You have both full level barracks in the cities? Perhaps that is confusing the script.

don´t know if i read it correct, but probably you need one of this city:
You had better be activating the script every time you load the game, Jebivjetar.
A screenie of your empire would be appreciated.

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
As far as i can remember, yes, i have activated the script every time when i loaded a game. It's probably my first EB campaign (i continued to play it today), so maybe there is little % possibility that ive forget to activate it. But, like i said, i always activate it... So, maybe there may be a problem?
How can you have both the factional and the regional mic at lvl 5? To build lvl5 regional MICs you need to have the "allied state" building.
I had my reform when I played Carthage, so its not broken.

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
You build your level 5 regional MIC, then change govt to build the homeland MICs. Seen as an exploit by most.

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
I don't know if that's the problem but i'll try. You can only get a regional level 5 MIC if you have the level 4 goverment installed,- the client ruler one.
Other than that i have no idea what could be the problem

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
O! I didnt know that i must have alied gov. to have levl 5 regional MiC... :shame:
I have assumed that if i build every possible MiCs in cities on the list will bring me reforms. I dont know to which level i get, but i've build everything offered and thought that's it.. Now im gonna start a new campaign, and sure will be more careful with that.

You don't need to start a new game. Just destroy your goverment in those cities and build the level4 ones.
Remember, you need those MIC's that cost 15000 mnai:yes:

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
And one more question to go, i forgot:
When i get reforms, can i recruit reformed units just in cities with level 5 reg. MiC, or will they be available in other cities too (e.g. in Carthage and Lilibeo)?

Maybe one day i will continue this game: but i want to start a new one and take it slow, without blitzing, with slow, calm expansion :)
About these 15000 mnai per MIC.... :dizzy2:
:2thumbsup:

that's how i played it. But it stopped being fun when i fought augustan romans at 200 BC:laugh4:.
You will get the new units in all your cities ( depending on the level of barracks)
Note: You will get the new units at your factional not regional MIC's. The regional ones are just triggers, nothing else

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
Well, i was thinking about 15000 minai per baracks (including the time required to build them), and decided to do some work on the script :idea2:
Can you call that cheating? Did Hannibal build (at least) 5 lev. mic. barracks (in at least 5 towns on the list) in order to have units to fight Romans? :inquisitive: (:laugh4:)
Is it one of those really annoying jokes where we have to speak Carthaginian to understand that Akbar actually means 'trap' or something?
Nope - just having seen the original Star Wars films will do it

Re: Problems with Carthaginian reforms :(
In Return of the Jedi Admiral Akbar was in charge of the assault on the Death Star and say's "It's a trap!" when they realise the Death Star is operational.
