Baconator? What's that?
Behold the Baconator
Wendy's is the most disgusting crap ever created by man. The parangon of tasteless junk-food, the down of civilization.
I ate a Baconator once, and it only increased my pessimism for the future of mankind. Actually, I wanted to turn into Hulk and blow up this double-quotation-marks ""restaurant"".
I enjoy their spicy chicken, but beyond that... :shame:
830 caloriesQuote:
How many calories is that?
You can find nutritional info for Wendy's menu here.
did i mention i lost 2 pounds yesterday?
Why is it when im feeling kind of hungry SFTS seems to open a thread about yet another OTT american 'meal/snack' which looks absolutely stunning...
Im going to have to have some toast or something else exciting...
We do not have Wendy's here...
...but it doesn't look much to me.
However, it has Bacon and therefore is blessed food and should be cherissed and worshiped by the faithful.
I'm going to break trend, and say that I enjoy Wendy's more than any other fast food joint. Other than the fries, I find Micky D's pretty nasty, and I'm not a Burger King fan.
Strike, I know you are a big guy, but that is a good way to have heart attack/get fat.
I salute you for spending time amongst the natives and reporting back to civilization.
Be careful! Their food can be dangerous, their customs strange, their women tempting and their men vengeful...we can't afford to lose too many of our intrepid explorers.
Pannonian, you deserve a HOF award for making me laugh all the time!
This, from a group of people who eat raw hamburger meat mixed with raw onions and Worcestershire sauce. And baby eels.
I'll stick with my processed hamburger meat.
Seriously, though, Wendy's has gone way downhill recently; they used to be rather good. If you want a real hamburger, though, you had best avoid not just the fast-food joints, but most "standard" American restaurants as well (i.e. Ruby Tuesday's, T.G.I. Fridays and other local knockoffs.) The true burger joint will either advertise its burgers right in the name (such as "Joe's Burgers"), or will be a small, rather funky-looking restaurant, usually with some random initials for a name. Of course, if you are only in America for a short period of time and can't hunt down a real burger joint, there are a few chains that still sell a genuine burger; the only one I can think of at the moment are Sonic (seriously, it's fast food but the burgers taste like real burgers!) and I've heard good things about the In-And-Out Burger, but it's only located in the Southwest.
Now quit eating your raw beef and various other inedible/disgusting/lethal dishes and enjoy some true American cuisine. :2thumbsup:
Reverand Joe: funny. the same goes for israeli food, and im sure the same for all regional foods.
the schwarma shacks taste so much better than the big restaurants with it.
schwarma beats all else!
Looks goooood!
Now me hungry.
Ha the baconator is weak. Go to burger King and buy the STEAKHOUSE burger. Pretty sure that it has heart attack written in barbecue sauce on the inside. No i love this burger like it is my own child. I am a seventeen year old boy and this burger gives me heartburn. Psh, as to getting fat who cares, i eat the baconator but i only weigh 195 pounds. That may sound like a lot but im 6'2 and play football, basketball, and swimming. Seriously go look up the steakhouse if i was a vegan i would love that burger, hell if i was a cow i would love that burger. SFTS you from Texas then you should be looking for the biggest and the best, to you sir i say drop the little red headed girl and pick up the king. I'd get a picture but it exceeds the size limit of what tosa says we can post. :laugh4:
Five Guys > Wendys
I haven't eaten there since Dave Thomas was alive, but from what I remember they certainly didn't skimp on the beef.
Maybe for our foreign visitors they should offer it on a crepe or croissant or baguette or sumptin'...
Five guys is delicious but i find it is a little expensive for my taste, it is also extremely greasy for some reason at our local restaurant
