This, from a group of people who eat raw hamburger meat mixed with raw onions and Worcestershire sauce. And baby eels.
I'll stick with my processed hamburger meat.
Seriously, though, Wendy's has gone way downhill recently; they used to be rather good. If you want a real hamburger, though, you had best avoid not just the fast-food joints, but most "standard" American restaurants as well (i.e. Ruby Tuesday's, T.G.I. Fridays and other local knockoffs.) The true burger joint will either advertise its burgers right in the name (such as "Joe's Burgers"), or will be a small, rather funky-looking restaurant, usually with some random initials for a name. Of course, if you are only in America for a short period of time and can't hunt down a real burger joint, there are a few chains that still sell a genuine burger; the only one I can think of at the moment are Sonic (seriously, it's fast food but the burgers taste like real burgers!) and I've heard good things about the In-And-Out Burger, but it's only located in the Southwest.
Now quit eating your raw beef and various other inedible/disgusting/lethal dishes and enjoy some true American cuisine.![]()
