I like to believe that when we die we go to a place similar to this one. Except everythings more expensive, the problems are worse, and all the people are :daisy:'s.

Quantum physics and quantum theory is giving us reasons to reexamine some of our assumtions.
There is no empirical data to back the assumption that consciousness stops at death.
We have some anecdotal testimony that it may continue and even some for reincarnation.
So this is more of a poll on your beliefs and faith.

Seriously now....when you die the biologic support for your consciousness stops working.....so that's it....no real need to worry about what happens next....that's nothing that will concern you.

Something does happen after you die, your body decomposes. As for consciousness, not sure, doubt it really matters either way.
This assumes that our conciousness resides in our physical bodies as a matter of necessity. You could look at it another way, our concoiusness resides in our physical bodies as a means of controling said body, but it is not constrained there. To look at it another way, the brain is the ship's wheel, not the soul's vessel.Quote:
