Unit Skin Error

I'm making Hoplites for Thrace and when I load them in a battle, they have white squares around the blue thing above the helmet and the cheek guards have black squares around them. What I did was I took the Greek Cities Hoplite skin, copied it, turned it to a light blue, took the blue parts and put them on the first Greek hoplite and saved it. I also use DDS convertor to be able to edit the skins in photoshop cs4.

Make an alpha channel in PS and make the parts you want transparent with making those parts black on the alpha channel. This way they won't be visible in the game.

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

haha really? XD maybe you should dry some moistruser, after all- the Thracian sun can get hot ( perhaps some sun block as well :P)
