DESPERATELY need way to contact Avenged Sevenfold

Maybe I'll cover it in another thread, but thats a PI girl thread for another time (when I have time). Basically my girlfriend broke up with me, I got very angry, and I said some horrible things to her that nobody should ever say to anyone. Not elaborating on that but it was really, really, REALLY bad.

Anyway, she tried to kill herself because of me and I'm scared she'll do it again. I know her most favorite band ever is Avenged Sevenfold, and she loves them enormously. I figure if I can get them to send some personally signed something to her, it might make her happy enough that she won't try to commit suicide again. But I'm having trouble contacting them. Their Facebook page immediately removes anything from their wall, their Myspace seems to go unchecked, and I don't know how else i can get a message out.


If ANYBODY at all knows or can find any way of either personally contacting or talking to someone who can personally connect me with the band, I would be so incredibly grateful. I'm not gonna be responsible for her death.

Have you apologized profusely, wept like a babe as you cried what a fool you were, how very wrong you were in everything you said, how you were only a bitter, angry youth and she truly is a light of goodness shining in an indifferent world? I doubt you're on speaking terms, so use a letter. Do it now. She needs not just to read that your words were the bitter venom of a cruel youth, but to know that.

I don't know that a signed thing from a band will help enough. You hurt her, you need to help heal her. And I'm afraid I can't think of a good way to contact a band.

Aye that I have CR, aside from the light of goodness thing and the weeping. And in person last night, as well as a huge text. I tried to explain but the right words dont really come out at the right time.

Its weird to think that the band thing would help, but her main venue for expressing herself is through music, and they are her absolute favorite band. she saw them a few weeks ago and literally for days after she could've been punched in the face and still be the happiest girl in the world. There's not much that I can do for her, or maybe I'm not imaginative enough. But I feel like it would at least open her up to understanding and forgiving me. It's more than just a "signed thing" really.

That's why a letter (not just an email) helps - it gives you time to compose your thoughts.

Trying mailing a letter to the band, and emailing if you haven't already.

The thing is that I checked on the mail thing for the band and the average time to get there, recieve it, process it, read it, and then send something back is over 8 weeks. which isn't close to fast enough.

Uhm, apparently they are with/part of/managed by Warner Brothers Music, with the following contact information:
Warner Bros. Records Inc.,
3300 Warner Blvd.,
Burbank,
CA. 91505,
ph: 818-846-9090

you could either give this a try or go to their homepage and try all the social media sites, including youtube, there has to be one where registered members can send them a private message. Might just get to their media guy/promoter but should be close enough.
I suppose that since their website has no direct contact information, they don't really want to be contacted directly. :shrug:

Another thing, that you probably feel you don't have right now, is time, if you apologized and told her you didn't really mean what you said, it will still take time until she can forgive you/get over it. Of course the agonizing mental pain you hopefully feel now is part of your punishment and you should take it like a man. ~;)

Thanks, I never even thought to try youtube or other sites like it. definitely gonna check those out and see if I can get a response.

Time and the sincere communication of regret will heal the wounds you inflicted on this poor girl.

This. You aren't sincere. You are focused on yourself, not her. You made a person want to kill themselves. STOP TRYING TO ALLEVIATE THE BURDEN ON YOUR CONSCIENCE AND LEAVE THE POOR GIRL ALONE.

I doubt the band will get involved. If she was dying of cancer that would be one thing. A suicide attempt will bring them some drama and indirect accountability that they don't want. Not to mention they are probably spoiled snobs. I think you are wasting your time.

And please, for the love of Pete, if you do get in contact with them, DO NOT mention that you had anything to do with her situation, as that would decrease the chance of success.

I'm glad you already had the right response and apologized in person. Such things should always be in person IMO, perhaps you don't always find the right words at the right time but it'll show if you're sincere.

Drop the band request, leave the girl some space. It's all too little too late. When she finally shows signs she's over it, then and only then you can apologies further with whatever you want.
