Pulling porn out of thin air !
Long live Fox !
Quote:
What mom thought was just a game is actually a very sophisticated piece of electronics that a clever kid can use to capture pornographic images out of thin air. In the school's library, Jeff was eager to show his friends his new Sony Play Station Portable, or PSP. On a dare, Jeff showed his pals how the PSP could magically display images of naked women.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
 That article reads like it was written by a kid.
No offense, but there is a certain level of grammatical and compositional proficiency required even in basic journalism.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
if there is porn....there is a way! :laugh4:

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
I like this bit
Quote:
But David Walsh of the National Institute on Media and the Family, says game makers have a responsibility too. They should let parents know that their product could give a kid easy access to pornography.
They should put a warning sticker up

warningFree Porn!!!!!!!
and watch sales skyrocket.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
Does anybody know when this article is written, I've known this was possible since September of 2005. Not that I've taken advantage of it, but I do know people who bought PSPs so they could download porn.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
My God! How low does Fox get with quality?
I mean, how does this draft gets past the editors unpolished? :dizzy2:
Now, to the article: old news. I know people who have been doing that for quite a long time; I, of course, does not take advantage of it. First because I don't have a PSP, and second because looking at porn at school is not cool.

I couldn't be bothered reading the whole article, it is rather bad.
But I think it is worrying that they can readily access any wireless network...

What ??? Is my English that bad ?
Besides, i would't call wi-fi magic or refer to the PSP as a game...
EDIT: and I posted this article here in the frontroom to mock the bad journalism, the bad writing and the general cluelessness of the article. Not to have an in depth discussion on the morality of portable porn, then it would have gone into the backroom. Some of you people are taking this way too seriously...

Why? It's not like looking at porn is a horrific crime. If anything, it's perfectly healthy for teenage boys to look at porn. It's when a teenage boy isn't interested in porn that there is something wrong.
-
Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
I agree teenagers should not be allowed to view teh pron on the internet.
They should be made to go to a newsagents in a different part of town to where they live, pretend to be having a hard time deciding what chocolate bar to buy until all the other customers have left, and then snatch a magazine at random from the top shelf and pay for it without making eye contact with the shopkeeper, same as we had to.
Kids today, don't know they are born.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
Yea,Dumb Kiddie these days........ :-) :-)

They had that back in English Assassin's day too... It's not new...
And with the Interweb, one does not have a pornographic stash of magazines ans such, just a dubious hard drive and a severely ill-working computer...

This too is arse about face. In my day any responsible father ensured his porn stash was "hidden" somewhere where his teenage son could readily find it, thus setting the lad off on the right path.
Either that or my dad imagined magazines became invisible when they are placed face down next to the bed.
-
Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
no his dad discovered his not the other way around

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
I have a 20GB HD and no PSP... No...

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
Definitely fits into the *yawn* category. As well as those people that can't differentiate a cable news channel from a local broadcast show.
-
Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
I had it rough as a kid, when I got ahold of a magazine my dad would steal it from me.

Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
Hey, a guy will see at least a porn pic before 16 years even if he does want or not.
For example, I see tons of porn magazines which are not covered, so I get to see everything. :skull:
-
Re: Pulling porn out of thin air !
ofcourse you didn't want to see them. ofcourse they were not covered. ofcourse. ~;)
