I think it can be quite fun to watch and if your taking part you can get a load of free food which is never a bad thing.

Every sport is about pushing the body to its limits, often damaging to your heatlh. So I don't think it's to far from being a sport. I wouldn't consider it one myself though.
i agree. i would just attend to eat. once i ate enough, i would go to each one of the conteders and take their food and put it in a bag and run away.Quote:

I think competetive eating is more of a sport than say Darts.
Despite that, the media still makes a big scene of the lakeside darts championship in europe ~:rolleyes: .
