Help for some Unofficial MOD install on EB

I'm new to EB Forum and installed EB081a on a clean RTW Gold Edition, looking at the Unofficial MOD thread I found I would like to install some of them, but avoiding then problems playing.
What I would like to do is to install:
* RTW Gold Edition (clean) and EB081a (already installed)
* "City MOD v 1.0" (it includes 1st Cohort v 1.2a that itself includes Improved CTD Fix)
* "1st Cohort MOD v1.2a" (not needed to be installed because included in above MODs)
* "Improved CTD Fix" (not needed to be installed because included in above MODs)
* "Watchman modified v2" & TBS v031 looks great for their specific improvement.

Can someone help if I'm making something wrong or I want to install too much and would be better to choose which one, for example between Watchman's and TBS' MOD?

I'm not too sure, I am sadly not playing EB at the moment, yet I would reccomend the great Thorlof's Battle System as it improves the AI immensly and adds some new interesting units by a very talented solo artist. Hope this helps you, cheers!

Just play the clean version to see if it works first. You can also uninstall a mod if you back up the correct files. I would play the clean version and when something comes up that you don't like, then go see if there is a mod for it. All of the mods you listed are great and add a lot to the game but being Eb is in a beta stage and so are many of those mods, it could cause some problems and burn you out before you even play at all.


Why go through the trouble of the mod messing up your EB install for nothing?


Ok, so my advice is to play clean EB for awhile and then start modifying it.

Unfortunately my City Mod does not contain the inproved fixes for CTD. I'll try to make a quick version tonight that does.

City Mod contains the whole 1st Cohort Mod.

Watchman's Mod and City Mod are incompatible (they save over some alter files from the other).

In my mod TBS 0.31 with units include CTD Fix. Instal as I writing in https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=81533 and play

# sorry but it was a misreading: City MOD includes 1st Cohort MOD and I wrongly tought that includes the 1.2a that have the improved fixes for CTD. By the way thanks for updating to 1.1

I will take some more time to choose, deeply reading instructions and files for City and TBS.
