I asked this question for Reputations but what about for Relations? Can someone please list the Ranks for Relations.
Abysmal
Terrible
Very poor
Poor
So-so
Reasonable
Amiable
Good
Very good
Outstanding
Perfect
Might be wrong though... Hopefully someone who knows the file this is in comes by.
Thanks.
I was sure of the high and low ends of it but around the
So-so
Reasonable
Amiable
Good
range I was confused.
I'm not entirely sure whether amiable belongs before or after good though...
Amiable is worse than good even though they mean exactly the same thing...
Well, technically they might, but in context the game has them the right way around (amiable being good but not friendly relations)Quote:

In the campaign_ai.db file there are suggested values for enabling trusted alliances. values of 0.8 for relations with the faction in question, and 0.3 as I recall for global reputation.
There are 11 ranks of relations in the above list - are we to assume that the value 1 is distributed equally across the list, so that each is worth 0.9090?
In which case wouldn't a value of (eg.) 7.272 for Very Good or 8.181 for Outstanding be a better setting, so you could always tell in-game whether your relations were good enough to maintain the alliance?
I'm not a modder, so take this with a grain of salt, but if I was writing the code I'd have it go from -1 to 1, rather than 0 to 1
which would explain the 11 values...thanks! never a programmer y'see, got no idea about this kind of thing
so the file is basically saying you need to keep relations above outstanding to keep the alliance
