Maybe protectionists should consider placing their money on acin for now.

I want the mafia to have a fair go at it and so I will give them a month or two before I give away his name.
Why bother mentioning any of this? Well, I like saying my new name, Mr. Cal King and also it puts me in a position of power down the line if the town happens to be a bunch of screw ups.

Okay, organized groups appear to be functioning well;
If you're missing people or would like one last shot at being part of a group, I am online now and we still have time.

You're hiding from me, too.... I feel disrespected.
What have I done to deserve this kind of shabby treatment? That does it, when I go out delivering pizzas tonight, and someone doesn't tip me, that will be the last straw.
I'm warning you....

I would recommend revealing it to one other person of your choice since should you mysteriously die tonight or tomorrow night then we can take out that scum since for the scum to target you for this is to me unsporting.
And if acin dies then this person could come out and finger whoever they wanted and direct a lynch? Are you serious?

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV
The obvious answer is that ACIN has been made an offer he cannot refuse.
Either he joins that mafia family, or they'll kill him off soon.
Personally, I'm in favor of offing him within three rounds or so, but there's no need to waste a lynch on it.
Besides, gotta weaken those established families so that my up-and-coming one has a little more influence.

I'm sorry but we're closed right now. If this is a call about an order you've already placed, please stay on the line and someone will be right with you.
Business hours are from start of day phase until 12 hours before night phase ends. After that, all bets are off.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV
How to Askthepizzaguy
Lesson One:
My inbox and instant messenger has been flooded with pleas from people who have stated their efforts at organizing have fallen to dust and have all been for naught. How do you do it, Askthepizzaguy, who has assembled no less than 8 groups despite stated neutrality and ambiguous ambition?
Well I want to tell you. Really, I do, so I don't become Town Dictator, Part II.
So I can retire.
I am Askthepizzaguy, and you can too!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
First issue: "I can't find people!"
Resolutions:
Post in-thread that you're organizing vigilante groups, protection groups, and how many more you need.
Private message folks that have stated publicly "I have no one to work with, help me!" and invite them to your group.
Contact folks you like and have worked with you before. Cite your past experience.
Contact folks you have never worked with before, say you'd like to work with them now and start a long beautiful friendship.
Contact folks who hate your guts, offer to work with them. State that nobody would expect it, therefore it's devious enough to work!
Leave yourself un-invisible on the org.
Leave yourself un-invisible on your instant messengers.
Talk to anyone who is online. Don't leave anyone alone. Talk talk talk.
Post in-thread enough times that people understand you're an "active player".
Describe your vision of the future, people like leadership. They will follow a mad neutral with no plans even if he claims to have a plan which is to have no plan at all. That's at least stating your political platform for the record. Do it.
Finally:
Make them an offer they can't refuse. Either great reward, or blackmail. Obvious leverage is obvious.
Second issue: "People are dropping out of the groups I've made!"
Resolutions:
Ask them why they want to leave. Address their concerns. Wipe them off the face of the Earth.
Make groups of 5 wiseguys or 7 townies for vigilantism, and 5 townies for protectionism.
Overstaff, come up with 8 or 9 member groups, plan for dropouts, ask someone to drop out on purpose if you're still overstaffed, put them in a protection group of 3 after.
Become known as someone who forms groups that function and have members who send in orders.
Confirm each person has sent the order by having them send the order to you as well as Seamus, as well as other members of the group.
Verify, verify, verify.
Third issue: "People don't send orders, don't respond, or are inactive, so my groups failed!"
Begin forming your groups during the DAY PHASE. Make fully-staffed, maximum-staffed, even overstaffed groups EARLY.
Make sure everyone agrees on action, members, and target before night begins.
Make sure plans are done before 12 hours before night phase ends, so you can make adjustments.
Change the organization 12 hours before deadline if it is an emergency. Leave time for folks with real lives to alter orders.
Avoid altering orders at all costs.
People have real lives. Seek active people for groups that you can't afford to fail.
Interview people, ask them their goals and ambitions. Ask them if they're discriminatory based on who they protect, attack, or if they do either action at all.
Put people in groups they prefer to be in.
Put people in groups with people they prefer to work with.
Protect or vig people they prefer to vig or protect. Less objections that way.
Meet their needs. Don't order them around.
If they cannot decide by Night Phase what they're doing, give a suggested order, so they agree to do something, anything.
I'll take questions now.
Seriously, I don't want to be the only one who is successful at this. I also don't want to be Captain America this game as I said.
I'll assist you in what you want to do, whatever it is.
I won't run this town. I won't go mafia. Understand that. I'm neutral.
If you need help, contact me. Questions? Ask the pizzaguy. However, I want to see folks start taking lead of their own efforts so I can retire from being Captain America.
Captain America is dead. I need a new apprentice, one far younger and more powerful.
Take this advice and run with it. This game is not all about Pizzaguy, so make it about you instead. I'll root for you.

There's no such thing as neutral players. There are only players who haven't decided which side they think is going to win yet.

What was Twilightblade last time?
He never took a side.
It is tempting to pick sides, I want to see if I can actually go neutral/survivor and just survive.
Also, I have a plan in place which will prevent me from actually switching alignments. :eyebrows: You'll see...

TB had a great idea, but I've taken it to its fullest flower. I intend to have fun, actual fun, this game and not worry about bogging myself down in pro-town duties and worrying about how to become mafia and all that rubbish. You know, I think someone once said, in the Pirate Ship game right after Capo, that I either didn't play to have fun or didn't know how or whatever. I can so too.
I am not going to be a bystander because I'm too much of a Pizzaguy to do that. But, I am also intrigued by the challenge of neutrality. Can it even work?
I don't know. I suppose I'll find out. But along the way I will have fun and be entertaining and whatnot. We'll see.

I won't vote for you, or against you. I have no strong feelings either way.
Currently: Undecided.
I liked GH's platform of total ambiguity and no promises of helping anyone. That is the only thing which makes my neutral heart beat and my neutral other thing get excited.
