OOC- A combination of advancing the story arc I've written, plus a violent, brazen confrontation, and a heroes' ending.
I can't promise it will be particularly funny or slapstick, (this time) but it should be an enjoyable read.

It's a common failing of ours. We know we should be engaging in more civilised behaviour, like killing all the inhabitants of a town and dancing on their graves, but we just can't help ourselves.
I know you're only saying that to humiliate me!
No, I'll be red till I'm dead!
Why stop when you're dead? :beam:
So I'll stay ahead?

I need to go load up the "I'm still alive" song from Portal.
I hope DJ Saucy Slice dies a horrible, agonizing death being baked alive in a pizza oven.

Oh my, all this patriotism, it really is so touching. Very moving and beautiful.
:laugh4: That would be a good way/write up for Pizza to die.
Diana, are any of your four lady avatars seeing anyone at the moment? :creep:
Well, sorry but one is, the other 3 are available. Which one would you like to meet. :laugh4:
I'm bored good sir
Its kinda sad to see a mafia dominated town and none of them glorying in it. I wish Andres and some others were alive, even though he would have probably been scum by now
I mean I've already had my say a couple of rounds back, posting large posts and all, no more point in that, this is probably one of the only ways I have left to have fun in public, after all, that being the main aim of this whole game :creep:
As to my survival, probably some kind soul (if any is still left in this town-forsaken Fatlington :stare: [:clown:]) who noticed that I died Night 1 in The Island.
Really you know Ishmael, virtually any townie who has stuck through even with all this public charade is a brave soul who isn't going to betray anyone. Some might say there's honour in thieves, but it takes a different sort of man to be able to stare at his false accusers with resilience and determination even though they are going to kill him anyway.
Hope isn't dead for the townies, its like a dim lightbulb in an aircraft hanger, but still there nonetheless. True, you might say that we are getting lynched, getting killed and all, but isn't it better to join the townie defense network rather than to sit around waiting to die?
Its no wonder that prisoners of war sometimes rather escape and die trying than to bum around and be systematically exterminated. That's really what's it all about I guess, and it also sometimes works.
And really, you know what's funny?
The Stracchi are only trying to kill off the town because they have the majority in terms of mades (looking at votes against when fryemarble comes up). In the end, they know that if the townies worked together with their rivals (just a different word for "allied families" trust me ) they would lose, even if the townies ended up getting exterminated eventually.
What really tickles my funny bone is that it seems like all the other families are following along like sheep, accepting their defeat once the Stracchi turn on them at the last.
You know Cahoma, that's why I firmly believed that the little bird was telling the truth, I put credit in the fact that no sane mafia would go along willingly with this, knowing that if this carried on he was destined for failure and losing. For you, Luca Cunnio to accept death so blindly and willingly, even though everything else was compelling you to step away from failure, I couldn't accept it.
Yet if that is the truth, then hey, at least I've found humor in my own death :2thumbsup:
I will walk to death with my chin up and eyes forward, for if death is yonder, then at least I will be able to say that I tried, embracing death like an old friend. This game isn't over yet until the credits roll.
VIVA LA RESISTANCE! THERE IS HOPE!
