although futile it is to go over the points that I have not responded to (though I thought I had) I might still give it another shot.

Question A, which concerns, as to how I survived, I already said in the post, that was posted just before dawn of the second phase, I have no clue. I am sorry if you want a better answer; I know nothing more about the 'why' I survived, than any of you do.

Question B. Why did I say that I was uncertain if a role reveal was a good idea, If I did not even have a role: again I will direct you to the post that was posted prior to day phase 2. It is a simple case of cost/benefit. Given that I was doomed to be lynched, since I survived the night attack, the best I could do was to make it as appealing for the mafia to kill me, as possible, rather than having to waste a day phase in kangaroo court. It should all be in my previous posts, if you really care :p (!)


@ Captain blackadder: You really suspect a serial killer now ? I thought that the common accepted truth was that it was a third party attacking me, given the ' I don't care if you are good or evil ' . But you believe that is the mafia that attacked me ?

Well, if you are innocent, which I doubt, I hope you realize that doing this is exactly what got you lynched. If you are townie and have nothing to hide, you should not lie about your role and change your story. Getting caught in a lie is a guaranteed lynch, and you really didn't give the town much choice other than to vote for you.

Plus, you clearly did not think this strategy through. Why would the mafia immediately attack you at night when it looks to everyone like you're immune to night kills?

Really? Just yesterday you seemed to agree with my line of thought, that since I survived an attack, I MUST be lynched no matter what I say. Oh well. And though you claim I clearly did not think it through, then let is just return to where you, among others (myself inlcuded) would expect me to be lynched no matter what. Given that this is what I can look forward to then there are two outcomes; either death by lynch, or Death by night kill.. I pick to 'enhance' the chance to get night killed, as that is really the only sensible choice. I can only agree that to lie is a bad thing for a townie to do, but it would be hard to claim that this case in anything standard. The only reason that I was not lynched yesterday, was because of the dim chance that I might have been a power role.

anyway I am done defending myself. I might still follow the game though, once I am dead :)

The point is that, if you are a townie, you succeeded in making things even more distracting for the town. By fighting the lynch with a lie, you were inevitably going to make yourself lynch bait in future rounds. If you were resigned to death and only wanted to minimize the distraction to the town, you should have let yourself get lynched yesterday.

Well, to be fair, it was me who started the "rescue mission" to GE which might have been a mistake in retrospect but at the point I just thought there were better targets on D1 than a potential power role.

Night is almost upon us, so this deserves to be posted publicly. Despite the warning I put up above, some people contacted me. I don't really think it's a wise move but as it stands I reluctantly ended up at the center of a small network. Nobody knows who anyone else is, and I'd like to keep it that way. If you're a neutral role willing to work with town or a townie role who believes that I am innocent and want to contribute without knowing identity of the others then drop me a line. I will not be sharing your identity with anyone either.

We'll see what we'll see about God Emperor, unless the lynch won't reveal his alignment.

Can we petition the host for a clear death reveal?

If you really wanted to give your best shot at having the Mafia attack you, and you were ready to lynch, why not outright claim something dangerous, like Vigilante or Detective? That would certainly paint a bigger target on you than the scummy "maybe I'll reveal later" which basically guaranteed your lynch. If you still survived the night and figured the town should lynch you, you could just go "I lied, I'm not a detective, I'm an ordinary townie" and this would probably have happened anyway.
