Some girls can be very agressive, not a one night stand type, but it's always me being aproached if it happens. Not really the same thing I know, but my sis for example campaigned for months for that sloth of a husband of hers

Men are supposed to do the chasing anyway; when ladies do it, we look clingy (and who likes that?) and it just encourages that "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" mentality that, at least from this lady's perspective, is bloody annoying! I'm not saying that guys have to be all traditional courting, no sexy time until third dates or whatever else, just that it shouldn't be left to the woman to do the work to make things happen.

I have heard strong rumours to the contrary about that young gentleman, but for the most part you're right; Rock Band is awesome and should be the ticket to all women's hearts, in my opinion:

I didn't mean that. I am not saying for you to sit around, in a short, men need to adopt the "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen", because more and more often this isn't the case. What happens is, the girl just goes "oh, it's another text message. :rolleyes:".

While this isn't my own wording, I remember some one saying: "If the main difference between a really good friendship and a really good relationship is that you have sex in a relationship, you need to give a reason for there sex to occur." by this, if you pamper the girl constantly, what reason in the theory, would she need to have sex with you for? She is going to get this pampering anyway, might as well go with some one else. However, if they only get this pampering while they are in a relationship with you, then there is a reason for them to have sex with you. While this statement will give me -10 points with every female on the forum, but there is some truth to it. If you pamper the female you are interested in, and they don't return anything, it is a seriously case of the "friend-zone", I would recommend stop pampering them, and begin actually hitting on other females. This will make the female you was interested in, miss the love and support, and they begin to feel jealous and then they 'realise' they love you, and thus might initiate steps. Obviously, don't fly into their arms so they go "oh, nevermind, we are just friends". So even if you are a nice-guy, don't be 'over-friendly'.

This sort of falls short when it comes to those American-esque you been friends since 5 and now 20 romance movies. But because in the real-life is none existant, we will dismiss that.

Well, for the money one, you need money.

This is all on the "short-term" anyway. Females simply are not attracted the sex-less pampering "nice-guy" routine, because the vast majority of them cannot tell if that means they like you more than just a friend or not as well. This is why females sometimes go for the whole ":daisy:" routine some guys do.

The only time, they usually go for some one during the "nice-guy" act, is because they want to go straight for that long-term relationship. The vast majority of females (especially younger ones) don't look for that. They look in the short-term.

I put it this way, which do you think is more attractive? A teddy-bear or bar of chocolate? The teddybear might be cute and cuddley, but you don't want "pleasure" from it. The chocolate is bad for you, but gives you "pleasure". In this sense "Girls just want to have fun". So imagine the girl sitting there, and here comes the "teddybear" 'er hi, I really like you, do you want to be more than friends?", the girl goes "aww, little teddy, how cute. I don't see you like that, we are friends.", then you go the bar of chocolate "hi there, I am naughty and I will give you pleasure" the girl goes "oooOoo I want take your wrapper off, Mr. Chocolate".

But the chocolate will melt away during the summer and the birds will eat it!

Another problem is that as soon as a chocolate bar with strawberry flavour comes along she will jump onto that. Well, unless you're just looking for a quickie of course, then that is not a problem but a solution.

Not really a problem, typically many see short-sightedly.


I put it this way, your average guy just wants sex, the average girl just wants a bit of fun. If you are not in this mantra, you face a situation where you are basically excluded, unless you find a single female some where who isn't one of those "bit of fun". Then because of these other guys who just want "sex" etc, they end up with one of those anyway and get disillusioned.

What happens usually is, the average guy and average girl magically at some point, realise they want something more then settle down. Problem is, the ones excluded obviously don't get that opportunity.



There are other reasons as well. Ever heard of the 10 point scale of attractiveness?

It goes along the lines that two people will go for eachother, as long as they are within 2 points of eachother. So lets say something is a "7" rating, they can reasonably go between a "9" max (not good looking enough for a 10) and a "5" min (below a 5 is too ugly for you), though they will most likely end up with some one at a similar rating.

This is also mixed in with another fact, women generally always go for higher, which means, men usually go for lower. Only times women usually go lower looks-wise is because a man has other factors such as money, etc which changes their own position on the scale due to these factors. So if you are Mr. Nice-guy and you are rated around a 5, lets say you are average. This means, unless you turn into chocolate, you will most likely end up with some one rated as a 3, if you stick to your usual routine.

As you can kind of guess, that cute girl next door? Absolutely no chance. The.. erm... "3 rating" girl down the road? If you can overlook her "3" rating, then thats your choice.

I've heard the 'homlier' girls were better in terms of the ol' in-and-out and all that's associated if you know what I mean. Better to turn a good girl bad than a bad girl good too. Use your chocolate bar and teddy bears as ruses to maneuver around her 'ability at tact' rather than making a blunt statement as to what you intend to do with said gifts.

Actually, it's me who asked Beskar to play it!

Hmm. It's more about being confident. Yes, trivial I know, but confidence goes a long way. In fact it is almost 95% confidence. A mate of mine is sleazy looking to be blunt, but he has a ridiculous amount to confidence and self-assurance. Confidence draws from being self-assured, not arrogant, but knowing who you are, etc.

No, for several reasons.

1. Girls, as a general rule, dislike that kind of music.

2. A strong beat is more important than a fast one; this is why dance music is popular.

3. The consequences of humping that fast would be embarrassing, to say the least.
