well uhhh, they had a lot of wheat.... thats pretty much all I got. I never paid much attention to turkey.... :sweatdrop: you could probably add how the USA has a lot of missiles and troops in trukey during the cold war (in case the Russians ever attacked) although I don't know for sure.
Not sure if it helps but Turkey's economy liberalized quite a bit in the '80s. Maybe something about economic growth?
