seamus seems quite active, but isnt checking this at the moment, he hasnt updated the mafia list either, if you see this seamus please do...on the waiting queue assuming the 3 you havent put down yet can go ahead in due time...

I suppose we can discuss how to play each other, rules and time etc while we wait for Seamus. Maybe a practice round or two.

Just have anyone play anyone, keep records and post games here, and eventually there would be something of a consensus over who's the best. Over at TWC, I and Harry Lime beat everyone until we played each other, and he beat me in both legs.Quote:

Pan' may have the best answer thus far. My original concept was a PBeM -- but it would seem that others lack patience and perhaps trust in such an approach (which I admit would take some time to resolve).

We'll give it to Saturday at Midnight EDT for signups, then I'll work out pairings using random.org.
Tournament bracketing will be set up and then the players will be responsible for choosing the means of their play (PBem; PBchat; online game). Each pair will be given a set amount of time to complete their best of three match (what amount do you think will do?)
Both opponents must communicate the results to the thread (so that we may see that both concur).
Round 2 may not start until Round 1 is completed, so faster pairs will have some downtime between rounds.
