Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
I am Toby Madison, a horse rancher. Not much of a fighter, but I know my way around the woods, being that I'm an outdoorsman. That is why I chose to forage, my rating is 2, and that is my highest rating. I do have a rifle, but no ammo.
Pleased to meet yall. :cowboy:

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
how many zombies are there? any pro-town roles? secret roles? everyone has abilities? what does our ratings mean? does it determine the outcome when we are attacked? will our total rating be used or will it be compared individually? is our rating used only to determine the chance of getting killed in the day or is it used in the night as well? if we are attacked by zombies do we become a zombie as well? come on let us in ATPG :whip:
or are we supposed to find it all for ourself? :dizzy2:
Beefy there are only 14 of us now that pever was killed...
7 and 7 seems a good idea...
Vote: No lynch
Action: Man the guardpost my ratings are so crappy i am not sure i should venture out :sweatdrop: i guess i will have to sometime but not before i get an idea of what heppens :embarassed:

I am a sexy female Actress called Albany Johanssen with +9 skill to glamour and special ability of looking good, even in this god forsaken place. The rest of the skills are zero and 1.
Would a brave rugged Horse-rancher look after little ol' me?

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
Just an aforementioned warning, this is almost like my game, the one I hosted.
Pever is our first Zombie, that's why he is dead - he wasn't important to the town in anyway. ATPG had a similar role, where he was a thinly veiled Louis Sera clone.
A basic strategy here is to use the Zombies as a vigilante tool. During the day we should plan as always, but whomever we select as second most suspicious should go out and attack the Zombies head on, netting us two kills.
Otherwise we will be utterly dependent on our investigator at this point.
SUSPECT EVERYONE! The mafioso has a cover role, an inconspicuous one that melds with his true ability, allowing him to appear to work for the town flawlessly. An instance is an ability that gives a false bonus to fake states, reflecting his real stat.
Because of this, do not trust any protown network, he can and most likely will be able to infiltrate it with ease.
If we are allowed item swapping, we need to send only our best foragers out. Finding an item is random, although certain items have a higher chance of being found, especially if they are the less useful variety. This maximizes our strengths while minimizing our weaknesses.
We have one among us who may become a super zombie, aka Tyrant. I am not sure if ATPG included that role from my previous game, but if it is in this game, we HAVE to lynch them over the agent! The role which was in the original game was immune to 3 lynches and/or night kills, had insane ratings across the board, nothing stopped it's ability to kill and was immune to all other abilities besides killing ones. Even if we kill the agent at that point, it will go berserk and off on it's own, possibly becoming even more threatening.
We may have two detectives this game, do NOT jump to conclusions when someone claims detective. The detectives may vary with a superior and lesser version, or are capable of investigating different things.
We may have a thief, he can help us if the agent is identified. My previous game he could pilfer the T-Virus from the agent, effectively negating the Tyrant (of course, he could be a :daisy: and simply use it anyway :brood:)
Link to previous game for your convenience.
Sorry, been waiting for this for a long time :laugh4::2thumbsup::beam:
For now, Vote:No Lynch and Action:Forage
I am Kansas C. Smith, your local Forrester and Park Ranger, with a Handgun and some ammo. If we are allowed, I'll share it with anyone who does actually need ammo, my weapon is terrible - it's like it's a peashooter.

Wait, what?
FoS: Beskar
Not because I think your mafia, I think you may be our potential Tyrant, and in the end you'd be a much greater threat to the town then the mafia itself.

So far, all surface rules are the same, and he asked for my previous notes. I am contributing what I think the game may be like, not what it is.
ATPG did not want to keep in theme with my previous one, it's the main reason he has the avatar he does now, because he liked the game so much. Hence, I think he will try to keep it as classic as possible.
Again, this is based on the idea they are similar. A single day and night phase should dispel some of my assumptions. Would you have me not contribute any information at all?

No need to get all insulted about it. I'm just pointing out that assuming we know how things will play out is a bad idea.

Well, it sounded like you were detracting the plan as well, which confused me. We have to have some kind of plan in this game or we are all zombie food.
-
Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
I've got an idea. Let's ALL pick "escape" at night, and perhaps some of use will make it.

Of course we do. I was simply advising caution when assuming what roles will be included in the game. It's highly probable ATPG changed some of them around to trip us up.
@ATPG: Are we allowed to trade items? That could open up a lot more tactical possibilities.
Also, to introduce myself, I'm Cleveland King. I'm just a bank clerk, but I hike a lot in my spare time so I have a bit of skill at foraging.

I reckon we might have more of a chance to get out of here alive with weapons and ammo.
-
Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
Well, it will keep ATPG from getting a cheap chuckle as we lynch each other off. :P

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
I am lousy at attacking but have defense. Better than nothing, but I think I will still have some use foraging rather than defending as I'm better at foraging.

Right now thought, it will take a heck of convincing to get me out there. Have seen those things?!? I'm staying in the Guard Post (Action: Man the Guard Post), good luck to those of you going out there. No, seriously.
Ah, and... erm... I'm going to Vote: No Lynch, I don't want to send anywhere out there to die, that's just, well, too damn cruel.
:wall:
And I joined this game because you did... :sweatdrop:
Well.. I gave you a head start to vote for me. But you didn't.
So I'm going to assume that you are the agent.. Am I right? Am I? Am I?

The rules have been updated. See rule 11 for "item trading"

Good, the town is using the Forage action in the early game. A couple more people on guard duty and we should be okay.

I'll hang around then, to get things moving.
Agents kills in the night yes?
Would they be killing within the group of night actions?

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
In light of the recent item trading rules, it is quite possible that we have certain people go out and forage only. People who have a gun and no ammo instead camp at the guard post to add to rating. So the people who can find ammo can pass it to those who have a gun and or dont have ammo. This way, stuff can be spread out nicely and those that have essential items don't get massacred by the zombies when they are alone....
Of course you have to take into consideration the mafia guy... I'm wondering.
Foragers would likely constitute of people with higher ratings for offense/defenshe as why would the single zombie for now be mad enough to attack the barricade with at least 2 people in it... soon to be more I hope. I recommend a minimum of 4? or 3? for now. This way we can maximize the usage of manpower as well as make sure we would likely have more people. Of course, this all depends on the fact that you can survive a zombie attack in day phase if your rating is nice and high and you have a lovely weapon.
Thoughts people?
Edit: If people somehow can survive an attack when the force attacking them is weak eg: 1 zombie, this is a plus for this idea as that will mean 1 less person or so gets converted in the day phase eh?

From hosts point of view, I reckon two is enough to man the barricade.. Surely there won't be too much zombies on the earlier stage..
Though thats assuming that theres no mafia. If theres for example.. three player and two of them are mafia... Then we will be in trouble.

Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
I have a question..regarding our hit point.
At what stage of hitpoint should we start panicking?
Like if our Hp falls below 30 or something, do we turn into zombies?
-
Re: Resident Evil: Omega (In Play)
You die when HP reaches zero. Even failed zombie attacks lower your HP.
