Yes, so true. And I felt in on my own skin too, except the possessive person was the other guy *whistling uncomfortably* :tongue:. Remember that time I was chased by a gang in Russia, for all you Taverners? Yeah, I somehow got the attention of the hottest girl in town (no kidding) and the bloke whom she dated before was apparently a popular person as well, and so he gathered up his friends, about 10-15 of them, and ambushed me, literally, intending to jump me - to beat the crap out of me in other words. Good thing I was on the school cross-country team, and I got away even with all of them chasing me - and was lucky to not have been hit with the rocks they threw when I was getting away. Nothing glamorous here, but I am not stupid enough to get licked because of a girl who I do not even have a romantic interest towards - and they were after me, not her, of course.

The really :daisy: thing was that my relationship with the girl was purely platonic. Now, she really fell for me, but before I start boasting, a lot of that undoubtedly had to do with the fact I was 'American', wealthy (God, I love the Russian exchange rates...) and sophisticated by the standards of the small town in Russia. In fact, it is hard for me to say which was the bigger reason for her attraction towards me - yeah, life is brutally blunt like that. Fun times, though, she was a very interesting person to talk to, I remember. That time I got chased by the gang had to be my most memorable adrenaline-rush, something I usually have trouble attaining. And then there was that time when that girl was shy and she spoke in Romanian that she wanted to kiss me, and happened to know the language a bit due to the fact my grandparents from father's side lived in Moldova. Of course, I never told her that I spoke the language, and good thing too, because that would have been an embarrassing moment :shame:.

Yeah, I allready talk to her and she said that she didn't have any feelings with that guy...

But when I ask a friend that knows her well... she said that those man are more mature than me, and maybe better for serious reasons :wall:
I feel she was cheating on me now... but it was because that filthy man chase off her unrelently... (as well as I made him got a bruise on his head)... ouw.... It looks like that the turning event was when I smash his head to the wall... :wall: I never tought about that risk before.... should I made peace or start cause more trouble for him? (thinking about made some really vicious pranks)...

Well, but he is a first-class jerk and an rectal-hole to do this to you. On the other hand, it was not a mature thing of you to fight him - in fact, I think that did more to distance you from your GF than anything that other bloke could have done. However, to conclude, no sane person would choose a mature jerk over a person whose main flaw is a lack of a bit maturity. (Almost) All of us grow more serious and level-headed as we grow older, but if he is both mature and a jerk, that is worrisome.

So what should I do? I was really disturbed by the very existance of such person on earth... but as "modern" laws applies... I can't just challange him into a duel and kill him..... hell yeah.... that was the very reason in all cultures to have a duel as a problem solving solution specifically for this case... but too bad.... pesky lawmakers... :wall:

Listen if this girl understands you did nothing wrong then dump her. You rightfully confronted this guy he swung at you and you ended the confrontation. she sound slike a real ***** if she cant grasp that concept you deserve better.

Childish brawling is not manly. Apolagise to him for slamming his head against a wall, if he then says he'll take your girlfriend off you, offer to step outside for a fair fight. From your posts in this thread I suspect you insulted him, which is why he raised his hand.

As far as killing him goes, you have no right unless he threatens her; even if it were legal all you would do would be to make her afraid of you.

the boots were excessive but where i come from if someone is going out with another person it is simply rude to blatantly hit on them. Rude to the women because at the heart of it you believe she is trashy enough to drop her boyfriend right then

A) She is seriosly interested in him. If that's the case, as I mentioned before, just take it as a man and move on.

However, there is another very possible scenario...

B) She is just attention seeking. Long distance is hard and often lonely, so she is desperate for some attention. She would prefer attention from you (being her boyfriend), but if she cant get it she is ready to take it from anywhere, and she is flattered when an older colleage flirts. When you hear talk about "him being more serious" it's really all about her wanting YOU to be more serious.

If you really love this girl (have no idea as to why you do, plenty of girls out there who wouldnt treat you like this), then what I would suggest you to is to take her to a romantic dinner. Don't go all emotional on the topic, and dont have it as a main point for the conversation. But about when the desserts comes (and a bottle of wine is downed), mention that you dont like her accepting other mens approaches when she is in a serious relationship. Make HER on the defensive side, dont even get into who hit whom and when and where and why. Just keep it very short, something along the line of:

"By the way, about [insert his name], maybe you havent got the attention you deserve lately. But set yourself in my position, how would you feel if another girl were openly flirting with me, and I accepted it and hung out with her? You'd want to scratch her eyes out, right, specially if she told you to your face that she wanted me. I'm sure you get my point, how was your dessert?"

Just have it said and move on, NO dwelling on the topic as she will very fast turn the tables around to what you have done wrong if you do.

And about the guy, just laugh him off if you meet him again. Make her understand SHE must deserve you, it goes both ways, and you wont run after her if she treats you with disrespect.

The not so nice part of me wonder why you want to be with a girl who disrespects you like that. I also think that what you want from medieval times is not the duel system, but to have the belief system back that women must have men making decisions for them as they are unable on their own. There is no such thing as "stealing" someones girl, and not even getting married is a failsafe for making a relationship work. She migh meet more interesting people, sucks I know. Only thing you can do about it to try and be interesting yourself :)

I was at the wrong side... as I never talk about marriage in serious manner with her... but that man pursue and discuss serious matter about that.... and for my past action of hitting him... I just recently know directly from her (just talk on the phone this morning), that after I hit his head, many of her friends ADVISE HER TO BREAK UP WITH ME, WHAT THE HELL?!?...

I was "banned" from entering her office too... and she said that if she could get a new job soon, maybe that was the best case.... have your friend enter the office uninvited, and slam the head of the head accountant is just plain disturbing to her employers... lucky for me, that employers are only a rather small business, and I will work as lecturer in my university.

Get the discussion about it over and done with as soon as possible. There's a phrase in English which is "turning over a new leaf", which means seizing something like this as an opportunity to get a fresh start. If she wants to take it more seriously, then this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

To me this says that she knows what your faults are and she accepts them, which means that she must care about you a lot. If you guys are really this close I don't think you have anything to worry about.

My advice is this: Don't waste your time and energy being jealous and mad. Yes going after someone else's girlfriend is a really lame thing to do, but there's nothing you can do about that. Instead of worrying about losing your girlfriend, which will drive you guys apart, just be glad that you have her in your life. Try to be a better boyfriend* and work on strengthening the relationship that you have with her.

*Not that I think that your a bad boyfriend :sweatdrop:
