I have an iced tea brewer. I use it 2-3 times a day, makes a rather large pot of tea. I like to mix mostly black tea with some flavored, no sugar. Mint, ginger, peppermint, etc are my favorites. Occasionally fruit teas as well.
Depends where you come from I think.
Here in Melbourne a latte is an espresso shot with hot milk and a stiff foam on top. More milk than a cappuchino and a stiffer foam, no chocolate flakes on top.
a Macchiato (which means 'stained' in Italian I'm told) is a long black (espresso shot with extra hot water) with a smudge of milk foam on the top.
There's time for both for me. I drink any sort of coffee, from Indian coffee till Turkish coffee and anything in between and also different sorts of tea (though I'll probably never try Lapsang Souchon again). I usually start the day with nettle tea, followed by a strong cafe au lait.

Nothing can be compared with fine red wine. I have a few glasses, always with good company and within a few hours, about every ten days or so. :barrel:

I live in the Pacific Northwest, so it has to be Coffee on a good day, and Tea for every other.
Coffee makes me sick for some reason.
Teas the way to go.
Coffee. I've tried different teas but never really cared for them much.
Maté is great as well, but doesn't really fit either category
Tea. Preferably unsweetened. Coffee is just a bit too strong for me.
Coffee. Black. Hot. Lots.
Everything else is for pansies. Grow a pair and drink a man's drink.
It is so funny! Americans preferred tea when the British were loving their coffee. The Americans switched to coffee because of tax and patriotism and the Brits switched to tea because of taxes. Both were well over 200 years ago and it has just been ingrained into the cultures.
Just about any speciality blend from Twinings will do for me, with Lady Grey being the usual teabag being thrown into my cup; it's very rare that I have bog-standard normal tea these days.
That's not to say that I'm not partial to coffee, but tea easily wins for me.
I fired up my Breville Crackhead coffee machine this morning and my first cup was a double espresso made with Kenya AA black with the cream blasted with the steamer.
Oh my...
Lady Grey is an interesting one, more popular amongst young women than Earl Grey now it seems. Which is odd, because it's been around for yonks and I swear no one drank it until a few years ago.
Me, I drink the Early Grey, but I have coffee first thing.
Except when camping, when I drink Cofftea.
A smack to the face is usually enough for me.
But if I had to choose, I would go with coffee.
I usually have Earl Grey along with breakfast, as the sharper taste from the bergamot oil really peps me up in the morning; Lady Grey feels like more of an afternoon tea, since the flavours are balanced and alot more delicate on the palate as a result.
Why tea ofc ! :)
I , like many, drink earl grey.. sometimes a green earl grey for the late evenings. However I am drinking a second-flush tea from India atm.. It's really good actually :laugh2:
I would usually stick to the black tea as it gives a kick to the brain : p
I think that adding milk to Earl Grey can ease the strong bergamot taste on the palate, and I usually add just a little to complement the flavour in such a manner; I forego the milk if I want the whole pick-me-up element though, and almost always take Lady Grey without milk. :P
I also feel that sugar/sweetener is a definite no-no with speciality blends like that, they just seem to detract from the overall taste too.
British Army coffee put me off the drink for years. This documentary footage demonstrates the key reasons:

I got very used to drinking absurdly strong and sweet tea, a peccadillo I indulge to this day. However, more usually I like to drink Earl Grey with lemon and occasionally a good green tea for the afternoons.
Having finally got used to good coffee that doesn't rely on mud for its taste, my mornings start out with a really strong espresso. Now and again, I'll linger over a cappucino.
