I joined this forum for EBI and EBII. I used to be very active in here but as the years went on, I became a lurker. Never lost hope though, I have always checked this forum at least once a week for the past 6 years.
Very happy to see the efforts of so many over so long finally come to fruition.
A little late to the party here. I have tried to keep checking this forum frequently over the years I have been anticipating EBII. I am so excited that its finally here! Congratulations to the dev team for persevering over the years. You guys have shown incredible dedication to this game! :thumbsup:
I just saw a new doomsday prophesy that the world will end on July 31st.
I'll be crouching in my basement with my PC and a copy of Medieval II, praying that my Internet connection holds out.
This is like a year's worth of daily christmas!!!
Good news! R2TW was cheap at steam so gave it a try just out of curiousity but this will cast that one aside instantly.

Great. This news is the reason that kept me around this forum even when not playing TW games ! It will be like xmass in plain august.

I have to say i have lost track of the state of this mod back in '08, '09, but have thought of it every once in a while since then. When i bothered to check it out after a couple of years, i found to my amazement, that it is almost here. I am SO grateful to the modding team of old and new, that you/they didn't give up on this long awaited project. I can only suspect that great perseverance and determination was needed from those individuals who have sacrificed their free time to make EB II a reality.

I'm being extra careful to make sure I don't die before EB2 is released. I'm even waiting for the green man before I cross the road now!!!

This is crazy! I remember when I joined up here at the Org, EB1 was still going strong and I vividly remember the announcement for beginning work on EBII. Good work!
This thread is kind equivalent to going to a nice restaurant and having to take a shit on the drive back. You have endured for so long but now that your bathroom is within sight you can't contain yourself.
I have patiently lurked for so many years and now with this announcement, I am beside myself, impulsively checking the forum every night hoping that the dev decide to bump the deadline to July.

I would if I could but figure out how Twitter works. I tried signing up and learning how to use it once (I wanted to send abusive messages to The Pope and Gary Barlow) but I honestly couldn't figure out how the hell that thing works. I even googled how it works and really tried to learn but it was just so unnecessarily confusing to me.
Looking back, this makes me sad for all the good people who this forum and mod project lost over the years: MarcusAureliusAntoninus, Foot, abou and the list goes on. I remember all being very active and prominent members and who have now left or barely active.
