Re: Marketing RTW: Just Do It: Junior Patrons
The Teutonberg [anyone who laughs at my spelling gets a pilum up their sacred band] forest. General Varus leads 3 legions into the forest, and none come out.
What an idiot.
Can you do better? 'Course you can. With Rome: Total War, you can do more than right historical wrongs. You can change history, shape it for yourself. What if Hannibal hadn't been defeated? What if the Britons had repelled the Roman invasion? What if you were in command at great battles like Cannae, Trebia, or at Hadrian's Wall as the Picts storm the Roman garrison?
With Rome: Total War, what if isn't what if, it's when.
Rome: Total War. You came, you saw, you conquered.

The game Rome:TW recreates the movies in a Civilization III map.
See the battles between the Romans, the Greeks, the Barbarians, and more, unfold. Control the action as you give orders to your units. Thousands of men will die for you, as the 3D models fight on screen.
Choose the camera, give the orders, and enjoy your power. Victory here means you conquer area on the map, similar to RISK and other games.

(Are these supposed to be 50 words or less? I'll try it.)
1)
Imagine: catapults are pounding the city walls, swordsmen cover their heads with shields as they march toward the gates, arrows rain down, siege towers are pushed forward. Imagine: a cavalry charge issues forth from the gates in an attempt to break the siege. Imagine: "Rome: Total War".
2)
Rome: Total War puts you in Caesar's role from managing the Senate to trading with the Egyptians. And don't forget the battles - extremely realistic with a focus on strategy and tactics but without glorifying blood and guts.
3)
Your satisfaction is our top priority! Rome: Total War will create a partnership between you and the game to enable you to hit the ground running and run Rome 24x7x365. You think you live in 2004. Think again! Try 260 B.C. Nothing is what it seems in Rome: Total War.

Dear Strong Bad,
Should I buy Rome: Total War?
I don't know.
a> Dear I don't know,
I think you are stupid or something. In fact, I know you are something. I guess that just proves it. Buy it, because I am not stupid.
