On social drinkers and deranged generals

it's interesting, for romans, command stars do not necessarily translate into higher influence. whereas in my current carthagian campaign: higher command rating seems to directly feed into higher influence... on another note, it might be related to the high valor my carthagian generals tend to earn... they are the main strike unit i have (besides elephants). basically, i mess the enemy formation up with elephants and, then, the general wipes them off the map. works like a charm: the gen defending sardinia has 3 golden experience markers...
