Isn't BKS a bit too harsh?!

No - BKS is not to harsh. And that is not only my opinion as a fellow moderator but also as a patron who visits the Frontroom.

I like the occasional silly thread in the Frontroom (and after all the Frontroom is the platform for this) - but when more than 50% of the Frotroom threads are variations of the same silly spam topics it gets annoying and boring.

If people start a light-hearted thread because they found something funny or if they make a poll to find out more about the people of the org that's fine - if useless threads are frequently only started to increase postcount and/or to get some attention and if these threads contain nothing else than senseless spam - than, IMHO, they should by all means be closed.

let's be honest, the bartix thread is pure spam. check BKS' spam policy - it deserved to be closed.

too bad this thread is being spammed by some patrons. it was meant serious.

I don't think BKS is harsh. Tbh, the Bartix thread was nonsense to me, because you have to work out each word, and I'm not familiar with the language.

P.S. May I just applaud BKS on the way that he closed that thread.

I agree with navaros & SM. I was one of those who originally agitated for a frontroom, an OT forum with no politics, but lately theres so much trash flying around the place I really can't be bothered with it. It seems like its a place where a handful of members post pointless threads and spam their postcounts.
