Hmm, the colour is still a bit rosy because of the filter that goes over the top at the end. Let me know if you want it more red:

Neeeed more red, give me more red....
and can we make the cresent moon thinner and a little more angled?

I am amazed, I truly am!
After reading your first point I was starting to think of something that had like a bridge with some wavy lines to mark sea or water under it, but what you did totally blows my head off! The way you incorporated it into the existing Komnenodoukai is also great! I love it, honestly! :2thumbsup:
Thank you very much for it, now the only thing left to do is get those provinces back! :beam:
And the way you brought in the mountains too, once again, very nice!
AG:
Like so? I toned the filter down a bit as well which preserves the red and keeps the blue nice and deep.

Oohhhhhhh Hhhhaaa
That's looking very nice deguerra.
I'd say we will stick with that and see what happens. Excellent stuff.
I have a request..
A small one and nothing fancy...
The red two headed eagle on a white shield.. A golden star on top of it.. laurel crown to surround it(just like in the greek coat of arms)..
cool. Here you go:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
will get to yours later Ibn Khaldun. Did you want it as a subshield of the wonderful Asteri arms, or are you going to forsake all allegiances to the house and declare yourself a traitor by using your own. :clown:
I am just kidding. Whatever you want, I am fine with :2thumbsup:
I don't consider myself a traitor if I want my own coat of arms :inquisitive:
But it actually was meant as a subshield to the Asteri one..
The star in it could be like the one in the Asteri shield..
And perhaps an orthodox cross there when the two laurel branches are connected?
I was just kidding :2thumbsup:
Will see what I can whip up.
thanks deguerra!!!
ok ibn khaldun....hmm...im not 100% sure I like this one yet. It seems a bit bottom heavy, and about to keel over. But let me know what you think, and if needed, how we can improve it:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
edit: the reason there is no orthodox cross, and that the wreath doesnt go all the way is that it then cuts through the wings too much which makes that look a bit silly. only way to solve that would be to make the eagle smaller, and that makes the centre look silly. alternatively, if you can find a thinner laurel wreath that might work, but there seems to be a curious lack of laurel images about.
some slight alterations:

For my wife:

get out of here deguerra and get into the PM's!! :clown:
You're wife can wait.
ibn khaldun: do you mind the star and wreath being below the eagle? it just works better in terms of the eagle's wings being quite wide, hence there is more room for them at the top
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
No she can't... :whip:
Thanks Deguerra. :beam:
That's it!!
Both of you, back into the PM's now or there will be trouble!! :whip::beam:
I like it!:2thumbsup:
I don't mind if it is down there :beam:
Good job! :2thumbsup:
Here, us this one as a signature version:

Woohoo! :medievalcheers:
Don't mess with my eagle, he's holding the Holy Hand Grenade.
Now..
I have a little request..
Is it possible to add the in game coat of arms of Caesarea on the chest of the eagle on my current coa??
Should be doable. Would be much easier if you could find me a better picture of said coat of arms somewhere online, though. Want to have a look?
Umm.. I'll try to find one then..
deguerra. Can you make me a coat of arms that combines some elements of the Kantakouzinos arms to Komnenodoukai arms?
can do. i have an exceedingly unfinished university assignment due on monday though, so it probably wont be this weekend. but i'll get there.
:2thumbsup:
i'll also have a look around the web re. Caesarea Ibn!
Sry.. but I couldn't find anything in web :shame:
I'm a poor researcher :shame:
Hey deg, long time since anyone asked for heraldry , so I'm going to fix that .
Can you do something combining the current House Ilios Korakas heraldry with something that would reference the Varangian Guard?
can do, but not in the nearish future, I'm afraid. uni as killing me right now.
Ok, something for Kantakouzinos.

Ok, a new one for YLC:
Varangians represented by a lion with a nordic axe. Not sure how true this is, but they once carved a lion which now stands in Venice and the axe speaks for itself.
