I am probably the single most pro town neutral that has ever existed.

As SK, neutral, third party, cult, one of the 2 mafia factions, you name it, I almost always team up with town against our common threat. Either openly or in secret when I can't reveal myself.

I couldn't give a rat's booty about like a survival wincondition. I want to kill a wolf and die gloriously.

Serial killers can do that but act like vigs.

I've even as neutral with killing power traded that power to town for protection and annihilated anti town cults and mafia families in big games.

I'm also good at it. I am as careful about not killing townies then as I am as town.

In fact, I'm more careful, because as town I can make more heroic shots, as neutral SK third party etc, my survival depends on town's trust.

There's already an alignment based reason not to trust me. I wouldn't damage relations further by hitting their consensus townies. I will hit their POE, and I will be very careful about interrogating the POE person first because I don't want to miss.

My wins as compatible win condition rely on wiping out the mafia. Incompatible? Just means I do the same thing but then try and outlast the town against our mutual enemy.

Our mutual enemy usually shoots them, and if they shoot me, it ends all my cares and worries.

Alliance always lasts until our mutual enemy is defeated, at least on my part. Town is usually not so unified or trustworthy or trusting, but you know what? I'd rather gamble with them than side with a team that cannot openly work with me, because they also have to hide.

And they have a nightkill and will kill me the moment it is convenient for them. I only have the one hit point as SK, so theyre the most dangerous.

I work with town until they backstab me and I die, or until the mafia ends my suffering.

But I will go for the glory and find half their team for town anyway. That's how I neutral, that's how I SK.

I am usually town's MVP when I am non town in a multiball.

Nothing adds to town's likelihood of success than a game balanced for a three way war suddenly becoming the soviet union and the allies beating down the fascists together.

No matter what you think of the Soviets at that point, you're glad they're beating our mutual enemy.

I do it for fun, for sport, and because in my heart, I am always town unless I am absolutely forced to fight against them with no other options.

I may not be as good a townie as I am a wolf, but damned if I won't try to be.

if you lose the rand, remember. Morale is the most important thing a wolf team has. Make the correct kills and let town be wrong.

You dont gotta force it. Town decides to let wolves go all the time.

And if they don't let you go and you just die, thats what happens. Its an asymmetrical game. If blindfolded town has more hit points than you and kills you, you can't stop them. They win when theyre right, thats the point.

Youre in a forced checkmate that town hopefully doesnt see. If they see it, you lose, through no fault of your own.

Every wolf game is a loss until town loses instead. Its always a loss until its too late for town to ever win again.

If you're losing a game you cannot forcibly win, youve got nothing to lose. So keep your chin up, it allows miracles to happen.

See- hitman's gambit, a game I won solo as a SK while also being cop checked night zero as guilty by the town cop before I could murder anyone.

If town makes enough mistakes literally anything is possible. Let go of everything you fear to lose.

Fear of loss is a path to the dark side.

I have been in (besides 1 mash, of 2) in multiple concurrent town games since the end of September, and have gone HAM. Maximum postcapping myself, topposting, 1,147 posting a Day One in one game, being killed n1, n1, n2, n1, n1, n2, n1 etc over and over again every game, trying to find entire wolf teams before day one ends, rushing analysis, yeeting 4 wolves on the first round of play in half of my games, outing a fifth, making a POE that includes most of the wolf team in a single round, and so forth.

In other words, I've never in my life towned harder or more effectively, so early in games. And early game is super difficult for me.

But, I lived to a day 6 doing that as town, someone was particularly nasty to me in a previous game that had ended, and despite going ham on the whole wolf team that game, I was immediately told how bad I was as soon as that game ended. At that point I kinda lost it from the stress of performance anxiety and pushing myself too hard and being told I was playing the game wrong in a guessing game, while being almost entirely correct.

I vowed to be a potato villager from then onward, and just play for fun, and for the social experience.

I'm hype to play here after so long, but I'm gonna sorta keep to that promise, so if you expect me to hyperpost here and solve the whole game day one and even be above average as a villager before d2 starts, like

I am aiming for 50 percent memes and jokes, and 50 percent I dunno, here's my guesses.

That's gonna have to be acceptable from now on because my rubber band broke pretty hard in postgame that game and I dont need the stress or expectation of being megavillager anymore. I proved what I came here to prove in 2022 I dont gotta prove myself any further. Capice?

Unlike other prerand slank warnings, there's a zero percent chance I dont keep to this one. My WIM should go up the longer I live, thats about all I can tells ya.

Why? Because I would like to read the game overnight, after the day one flip, and actually be able to post my analysis at start of day two.

I have been unable to do that in half of my games. So, if you have nothing better, no reason to go elsewhere, I request just that one night.

Roleblocking me is also fine, if you're a jailer. That is perfectly reasonable.

I have no night abilities, or if I do, you can roleblock them n1 and it won't matter to me at all.

Okay they gave a proper response in 1357 but I don't think it's super good either.

The way visor said that he hasn't been coasty at all and has well-thought out reads totally contradicts the whole gameplay of them so far.

I can also say, depending on the game, he is as wolfy as a wolf as he is as town, or, he's extremely villagery because he's disconnected from the entire wolf team and doing nothing they ask of him and not assisting with their wolf plan and generally being his very weird self, and that's why I never found him in chess mafia.

The wolf team had a plan, and he was like: no.

And it worked. And the rest of the team got dunked because their wolf plan was a very very very readable wolf plan. They all died for that wolf plan.

Except Monty.

This is my meta based fair warning about how utterly bizarre Monty is as a player, and how certainty on Monty's alignment is folly.

I will be intensely distracted this game by other games, hosting, baby, and hanging out and socializing.

It's much more a Pizza-specific fact pattern. Namely, we showed you the plan, you utterly destroyed it within 5 hours of game start, inarguably so - believe me, I tried to argue the case - so I scurried away while...

It was like if Mace Windu and the Masters confronted Palpatine, but with Anakin Skywalker on their side. Palpatine was got dead to rights, nothing for him to do but go out sword a-blazing, but Count Dooku fucked off to the Outer Rim because discretion is the better part of valor. The other apprentices didn't have to stay to confront the Jedi Council out of solidarity, with predictable results. If that makes sense to you.

I could afford to be a towny SK in my one SK game because, well, because it was Old Gameroom, but also because I had NK invulnerability.

But for the past 5 years I haven't even been able to reach 'average' as town unless I can make it to mid-game without a strong theory of the game.

You erect these sorts of tiered defensive perimeters and full-spectrum slot reads as any alignment. You love confusing and overwhelming the player base with connections because it works just as well on Mafia as on Town. And you're always improving your game, so AFAIK your scum games used to be more endgame heavy but now your town games probably match them. I haven't caught you red-handed in 9 years, and if I've found you as town-town it was most likely when you were in the process of being wagoned by scum (which you could no longer allow to happen anymore). Even before MU you warned that you're not a good D1 read, and all the less so by now surely.
