Seconded.
One small suggestion - it might be better if, instead of titling each post "the reign of Kaiser X, 1110=1119", you used "Chancellor Y, 1110-1119" or something. I think that puts the emphasis on the de facto ruler of the Empire and also makes the titles more varied.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
So henry finally died in the game?

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Great story, econ21, but I am also curious. Is that an official announcement?

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
No savefile has been uploaded yet

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
How do you insert pictures in a Battle Report.
-
Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Upload them to a website of some kind. Then put the proper IMG tags around the URL. You can do that easily by clicking the little yellow icon with the mountain on it, and then pasting in the URL of the photo. Then put the whole thing is a spoiler tag to keep it from screwing up page alignment on loading.
If that's confusing, just find a post that has already done it and hit Quote. Then look at how it was done in the quoted text.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Thanks TC.
On it. Where's the spoiler tag thingy?
-
Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
(spoil)(/spoil) or (ex)(/ex)

On the full or "advanced" text box view, it's the second B, located on the right side between the PHP and strikethrough icons.

Your first summary screen doesn't seem to display properly.

It looks good to me. Good first write up, now you just have to actually command a battle. Still waiting for my first.:book:

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Thanks Northnovas,
As a comment to Igno, it would be good to have Zirn in a few battles in this coming Mongol invasion.
I'll make comment in the Diet.

Yes, Ignoramus clicked end turn and Henry died. There's also some other news that the Chancellor will no doubt report on in due course.
I guess I'll be taking Elberhard as my new avatar.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
...and Heinrich silently rejoices.
Ah well, I guess it's time that econ gets to play an interesting character.

I don't know - hopefully when Ignoramus logs on, he will provide a Chancellor's Report and upload a new save so we can see what's happening.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Jobst is emperor now? I didn't vote for him.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Kaiser isn't elected, it's the ingame 'faction leader' and hier thing, chancellor is elected, and they are the one who plays the game.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Man, when I played the game to see the whole Heir thing for myself Henry lasted way into 1150. Well, I guess it was about time. Too bad though, that none of the old guard are alive to give some moving speech about him in the Diet, all those new upstarts hardly know him.

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Hey Ituralde,
You've left House Austria I guess. I don't have Count of Budapest anymore then?
And yes I'm looking forward to the Mongol second wave being handled by another group of General's.
I'm still wait for a good solid defeat to set things back a bit.

I downloaded it but I don't think I installed it right :P
The Mentor one works alright though, its darn handy with passing on things.
I suggest we use at least the second mod for KotR, it provides heaps of IC oppurtunities, and with the fact you can become Grand Master of one of the Orders would be awesome!

Re: King of the Romans OOC thread VII
Igno, when are we going to see the save and the chancellor report. You've been hammering on progress, but you lack it a bit yourself ~D
