I didn't get a chance to be recruited before I died obviously. And the implication is that more standard humans, with lower Holmgang scores, are affected differently. Though I've always found it kinda shameful metagaming and try to avoid having it in games, when basic townies give up and try to betray the rest of the town for when they eventually get recruited.

Meh. If your tactics make you win games and you have fun, and it's all legal, I'm not going to cry about it.

Cult could take out the Jotun and you could be recruited to the winning side. Not really seeing a problem.

That's coming from soon-to-be-dead me who is still rooting for the town.

Ok, you guys are using 'cult' with a negative connotation, which is very unfortunate. Look, just think of it in a more academic context, where it has a more specialized meaning of a certain type of institution (analogous like 'myth' in common and academic contexts).

Malevolent intent, neutral intent, or good intent, it still puts the balance of power against the Jotun. Any game where two rival scum families exist is usually much easier for the town to win because the mafia parties will be attempting to destroy each other and usually have a better idea what to do than basic cannon fodder.

I'm rooting for the town, but town can become cult. Town can't become Jotun so far as I know. Town and Jotun will always be enemies.

I really don't care if Loki wants to rule the world with an iron fist if he crushes all the Jotun under his heel. :evilgrin:

By the way I still think it's likely Andres is fronting for someone else who's actually Loki. The best guess, reading their posts, is that it is Reenk after all and the Jotun taking him down is a good way for Loki to go.

If Andres actually is Loki and actually goes into a Holmgang he could easily kill another townie and at least get his strength confirmed anyway, plus he wouldn't be able to Holmgang again for another night. So not too big of a loss for the Jotun to see if Andres is truthful rather than walk into a trap where he's not actually Loki.

I do hope Loki isn't allied with the Jotun, of course.

Everyone knows theres a cult Chaotix. Just like how everyone knows I can't be dueled, or that ATPG is a Jotun. It's just one of those common sense things people have known since the game started.

I am glad to know I was killed to appease a God that most likely is not town aligned and probably has a solo victory condition. I'm sure Loki will lead the town strait to victory, rather than exploiting it and using it for his own purposes. :)
Yep, you guys are DEFINITELY gonna win with LOKI, the god of TRICKERY's help!

But in all seriousness, did anyone even think I was a Jotun, because there certainly weren't many votes that said as much. I believe you guys just gave the Jotun the easiest day to vote through possible. Simply cast a vote for no reason day!

Anyway, I hope you can all trust that I am a basic townie now. I will stick around and help as much as I can. Feel free to pm me any role's etc and I can see if I think they are legit. I will also watch the thread and try to help as though I were still alive.

I hope I can still help, but it is my FIRM opinion that Loki has no reason or intention to truly aid the town in achieving victory. If anything, he probably has an objective to kill the king's himself because the subsequent war will be full of the chaos he so loves.

(Don't worry, I am not upset, at least I prevented another champion or something from being lynched today!) :)

I am not sure if i have not already lost count, but few rounds and we have already lost couple God´s, King´s and Champion´s quite likely. Are we doing that bad? Or are we missing something. Also i would like to ask again, what are the limitations of the dead players in this game? What can we do and what we can not?

Ah, so much attention! And here I thought that I would be challenged by Loki himself! That would have been a worthy fight, but I guess not everybody listens to ATPG.
I´m sure there´s a pattern in there Hanky, but I can´t see it.

No, you're right, Kage, we are really doing that bad. The one upside is that having Heimdall die made it possible for Loki to be pro-town.

Dead players can post, but they can't vote, PM, or give out sensitive information. Standard fare.
