Cahoma, robbiecon, say something. Place votes, whatever.
I'm waiting for Cahoma to vote, seeing as I want to be the last to vote, as per PG.
Cahoma, please show us you Role PM and then go ahead, vote, both of you and let's hear some reasons.
My role PM:
And I don't know who to vote for. I don't feel like I have anything to go on, it could be anyone.Quote:

Guys, you'll have to start thinking about what your PGs will help you if your faction loses this game.
How am I scummy? I have absolutely no idea on who I should vote for.
Well, you'll have to put your vote somewhere if you want to win this game.
You're not voting, so Robbiecon can't vote. I don't like that.
Vote: Abstain, happy?
That's not allowed anymore.
Ah dammit. Vote: TLD because he called me scummy.:P
Good reason, throw in an OMGUS vote on the deciding day phase. I can't be bothered anymore, off to watch Patriots - Chargers, do what you will.
Well I have no idea who to vote for, but you kept telling me to vote for someone. So I did.
I have nothing to base my vote on.
Vote: TLD this is my last opportunity to post, as I won't have Internet access tonight, and probably nothing for too long over the next few days.
You used it very well, this last opportunity
So, watch a decent sport!
I like American Football, sue me.
Guys, you have about two hours to reverse definite failure.
I think it's Arjos or robbiecon. They both are evasive, Arjos puts flimsy reasoning behind all his votes.
I'm giving robbievon the benefit of the doubt because he left that line about his brother in the PM. It's WIFOM I know but there's not much to go on, if he's scum and did that, nice move.
Wait... what if robbiecon himself doesn't know that he's the Mafia. There were no nightkills, basically it's possible no one ever sent in night orders. I'm willing to give this a try and I know it might sound crazy but since you're keen on lynching the wrong one anyway, I want my vote on robbiecon. Follow along if you dare
unvote, vote: robbiecon
Sue you? OK.
I don't think there's a traitor who doesn't know he's a traitor. That doesn't make any real sense. But I'm gonna go with you on Arjos.
Unvote; Vote: Arjos
But I thinki it's robbie.
Let's tie this :daisy: up. :smoking:
Unvote; Vote: Arjos
How about you submit to the will of the Gods and allow them to choose your Destiny, TLD.
I'd like to choose my own destiny. Since there is a higher chance that Arjos is scum than myself being scum (which is zero) I will switch to Arjos if this stays the same and no one is willing to lynch robbie.
That's a nice idea, it will be fun to have a tie ^^
Even though I'm afraid TLD will switch at the last second :D
Edit: yup he's going to vote me XD
I am serious, most likely this will even end with both of us being town and killing the game XD
So switch to robbiecon and convice others to do so. I will switch to you, should the round draw closer to the end with this tie. I know I'm not town and I will not simply accept to be lynched when I know this will lose the game.
Ahm, why do I have to convince people that your vote on robbie is the right one? :S
Atm I think it's you, robbie or Cahoma: your case I've explained it, robbie 'cos of the brother thing in the PM (even though if he's mafia it's weird that he didn't erase it), while Cahoma is just jumping around...
Not to mention that yours and Cahoma's are just the less credible personal goals...
Uh, Freudian slip?Quote:
I know I'm not town and I will not simply accept to be lynched when I know this will lose the game.
My thoughts: Robbiecon, or Cahoma, is the brother.
TLD, or, Arjos is the traitor I'm looking for.
Obviously you don't want to be in a tie. No one does. Unfortunately, we lack a 6th player. Just know that I will switch to you, TLD, if you try anything funny.
Who want's to play 'bidding war'?
lol didn't see that XD
Well funny how the tie is in his hands :D
Yep. I mean, think about it: break the tie, you die; keep the tie, you get a coin flip. Also, it absolves me of all responsibility (in my mind, at least).
And I make you personally responsible, all of you. Unvote, vote: Arjos You left me no choice, I'm not letting a game be decided by luck.
Nazi to meet you then....
Unvote; Vote: TLD
Let's see this damn write-up now XD
Tally
TLD: 3 (Arjos, Montmorency and robbiecon)
Arjos: 2 (Cahoma, TLD)
I'll go down with pride and the blame for the loss of the town is on you, not me or some random number generator.
Imo the tie resulting in a duel would have made such a fine closing :)
If you still want a tie, you could just unvote TLD. :p
Oh dear, you're right. Too late now, though.
Such a silly ass...
No worries TLD, I must say however it may end, I'm having great playing mafia here ^^
With Monty and you also adds a very nice twist :P
Unfortunately I'll be going out soon, so no time for a writeup, I'll do it when I get back, keep you all in suspense.
Tally:
3 x TLD (Arjos, Robbiecon, Montmorency)
2 x Arjos (Cahoma, TLD)
TLD is lynched.
Find out the effect of this when I get back.
Sorry, but it's O!TLD!, not TLD.
It was surprisingly hot that day. The temperature was unbearably high, and the men sweated as they attended their duties around the complex. None of them knew what was in the complex, some thought it might be a secret weapon of some kind, others thought it was safe house filled with goods. Heinrich, even though he was the leader, had no clue. He walked around the base, alone with his thoughts.
They had still not caught the traitor. Or traitors, if there were more than one. He knew time was running out to catch them, as soon they would outnumber the remaining guards. The SS would not help; they had no time for petty guard captains. He would be turned away immediately. Heinrich sighed. He had a tough job.
The end of the day approached. Heinrich sighed, and began to walk back to the complex, signalling the assembly, unaware that it would be the last time that he would do so.
“Gather round and give me your votes.”
The men looked at each other nervously.
“What is the problem? Hand them in!”
One of the guards said quietly, “You sir, are the problem, you are the traitor that must die.”
Heinrich’s open mouth turned to a snarl, as he pulled out his pistol. The men mobbed him and he was pushed to the ground.
The commissar picked up the pistol from the ground. “Fine quality, pity you won’t get to use it. Hold him up.”
The men brought Heinrich up to a standing position. He had a defiant look on his face.
“Traitorous scum, you will pay for this!” he yelled, his final words falling on deaf ears.
The commissar simply smiled and fired the pistol into Heinrich’s torso, until the clip was empty. The men dropped him to the ground. The commissar pocketed the pistol.
“Tomorrow we will come back here to finish this once and for all. Leave the corpse, there will be more to clean tomorrow. You are dismissed.”
The men walked off, leaving Heinrich to sizzle in the hot sun.
That's the writeup for Heinrich, and now I'm doing the one for the last day. (No pun intended ).
The Final Day of the Guards at Complex A12.
Another sweltering day, the heatwave was unseasonal, and uncomfortable. The men couldn’t concentrate on their work today, and one by one, they began to drift into the centre of the airfield.
The commissar was there first, with a role. As the men wandered into the airfield, he recorded their name on the sheet. Eventually, everyone showed up and marked present. An eerie silence crept over the base, as no-one spoke.
“We have little time left, we need to find the traitor, and fast. Discuss.” The commissar said and withdrew out of the centre of the circle.
Jurgen was surprised that the death of Heinrich had no major effects, and some of the soldiers kicked the voting pages around and discovered that he was not the intended target for the killing. Uneasiness flowed, many were starting to be scared of the traitor, that could manipulate the vote tally.
Jurgen started off the voting, against Maximillian, who professed he had no idea of what was happening. The commissar, Ulysses, threw down a vote for Ulrich, the night watchmen. Jurgen attempted to analyse everything, but realised there was nothing to follow. He ended up following the commissar. At this, the night watchman began to get very annoyed. He pointed at legitimate reasons to his innocence, and started to protest against the flurry of votes.
Eventually the discussion turned to Maximillian’s proclaimed innocence and confusion. And then to voting times, and the whole Golden Rule episode, but nothing came out of it. They pointed out the lateness of Harold, one of the guards as an indicator of possible evil. The Commissar explained that he was getting sick of Heinrich, and had no problem with him dying.
The day went on, vote changes and switches galore. The only two targets were the Commissar and Ulrich, the night watchmen.
Sunset approached. That would signal the end of the day, and the end of the problem, in one way or another. Sweat dripped down the face of Ulrich and Ulysses, the two final choices. Eventually, three minutes before sunset, the vote changed to Ulysses.
Silence dropped.
The commissar was now in the lead. He knew he had little time left. He sighed inwardly, he had failed in his mission to extract his vengeance.
Time ticked onwards.
Suddenly, Jurgen, the new recruit put down a vote for Ulrich. Ulrich snarled, Maximillian by his side began to bring his to his gun.
Sunset.
“It is over.”
The men gathered in the two groups, Jurgen, Harold and Ulysses in one and Maximillian and Ulrich in the other.
“It is time to face your death.” The commissar said
“No. I will not.” Ulrich spat.
The commissar drew the pistol as Ulrich bolted past an aeroplane, pistol shots rang out against the metal. Maximillian drew his assault rifle and started firing in the direction of the commissar’s group. They took cover, firing shots back at Maximillian. A fire-fight ensued. Bullets sprayed everywhere, none hitting.
Eventually, the moon came out. And the fire of bullets became less and less. Ulrich had almost run out of bullets. He saw Jurgen approach him. He whispered, “Help me escape, the traitors are on your side!”
“You are the traitor.” He said and shot him in the arm.
Blood poured out. Ulrich screamed in pain. Jurgen aimed a kick at him, but Ulrich rolled out of the way. Meanwhile, someone had turned on a searchlight, and had pointed it at the fight.
The commissar yelled out, “Give it up now. Your betrayal is at an end.”
Ulrich was struggling against Jurgen, even though he was stronger and more combat hardened, having your arm shot is painful. Eventually, the commissar and Harold walked over to them, dragging Maximillian along in chains.
“Enough.”.
The commissar walked near Ulrich. “You have fought well. But tonight this ends. Know this, you were right in the end. Your end is now.”
Ulrich sat back, laughing, as the bullets smacked into his chest. Blood ran out his mouth, yet he still kept laughing, until he finally collapsed onto his side and died.
Ulysses wasn’t finished. He pointed the gun at Maximillian who looked up briefly, then rocketed backwards as the bullets penetrated his skull.
Jurgen meanwhile, looked on in shock. He had caused this. He hung his head, and wept.
“I’m sorry, but it ends for you as well.”
He just continued to weep, as his limbs exploded.
“It is done.”
Harold nodded.
“Now, to open Complex A12, and to get my revenge. Are you with me?” Ulysses said to his brother.
“You killed my friends.”
“They were in the way.”
“You are a murderer.”
“The ends justify the means.”
“Why?”
“Because he poses a threat to mankind that is worse than fifty atomic bombs. I do not wish to see humanity destroyed. I will do what I have to.”
“So be it. Let us leave here before the stench worsens.”
The End… for the moment.
Thanks for playing. Mafia Victory.

El Barto
Choxorn, I don't think you unvoted me. Not that it matters, that was a horrible screw up on my part. Sorry.
Heinrich had the ability to buy a players vote, neither JHT or Choxorn used it.
He was the only town with an ability.
Robbie was Neutral until he was scanned by Arjos.
Arjos started off with a scan to find his brother, (Converting him to his team) and a nightkill every second night. I removed the nightkill due to balance after Robbie was recruited.
Though TLD was right with both Robbie and Arjos. :P
Hope you enjoyed it.
Well, I was basically right as well:"Either TLD or Arjos is the big one, while either Robbie or Cahoma is the brother."
I had come to suspect Arjos strongly by the beginning of the Day, but from there the divergence of behavior from expectation had me uncertain between the two.
I'm sorry, TLD, but you were panicking so much, and I just found it difficult to fully accept that a mafioso could be so cavalier and calm in such circumstances. Well played, Arjos.
Of course, if I could have just realized that an Unvote would force a tie, I might have had my cake and eaten it too. I wish you'd mentioned that a bit earlier, Choxorn. :shame:
If it was a tie, double lynch.
As long as the Mafia bought it.
Well the double lynch would have basically saved the town, right? Two Twon and One Mafia left, robbiecon not having a nightkill ability.
Still, I panicked? Where? You must mistake my usual playstyle as panic moves but you really have to study your foes harder
Congrats Arjos and robbie.
Ah ah nice and very nice write-ups :)
And yeah it would have been funny to have a tie :D
The whole commissar thing, was because I felt like it was scummier to put there a random "guard"...
I had great fun ^^
Still Nazis had to lose guys XD
Oh thanks Visorslash for the game and for stripping us of killing abilities, making it more fun to play...
If it was a double lynch, then it would be 2:1, and another final day. :P
THat would've been a nice writeup. I would've had a duel going.
True, but I don't do that. Again, I'd rather lose outright than that
*huge facepalm*
Well, I didn't think that my obvious joke vote on you required an unvote. :laugh4:
As to the vote-changing ability, I didn't use it because I thought my normal vote was going to count (Well, and I forgot, but mostly the first one). :stare:
I'm glad that we won. I thought I had thrown it away for sure when I'd forgotten to edit out the mention of brother. Arjos got in touch with me, and I removed it, but then we saw TLD had already seen it, so I put it back in again, for honesty. It would look really bad if I was clearly hiding something.
Another thing Arjos saw was that TLD appeared to have changed the Faction from Town , etc to Town ; A trap which Arjos appears to have fallen for, but tipped me off about. Montmorency had Town , in his role that he posted.
I'm also pleased that Arjos picked up on my hint in-thread early on about people being grouped up. I slipped in Harold and Kumar in my duos, so that if the other brother I was meant to meet up with knew my name he could find me easily. But he got in touch anyway. So I had done enough.
Good game all round. Sorry I had to lynch TLD, as he was pretty much on the money as to who was scum.
I wanted to get your reaction. And Monty's. I PMed that to both of you and your reactions were a distinct part in clearing Monty and focussing on you instead of him.
