how is calling myself lazy wolfy? I definitely haven't been playing with any kind of alacrity or presence. I've been responding to things I think are interesting or neat, and ignoring things I don't particularly care about.

C4 is an easy town read to toss off, he's active, solving some people, and generally posting with the flow of things. None of which are townie on their own, but taken as a whole they're indicative of being more townie than not.
If he's a wolf he eventually needs to wolf read town, yeah? When that happens we'll be able to start solving him IF we need to.

yeah, yeah he does. There's a game on Mafia Universe, the Mario 2 game in the CFC subforum where he was wolf, claimed cop. I've also seen him be not a cop and claim it as town.
Basically that's his shtick.

He's most likely to be wolf read when he's making pushes that don't make sense or when he's not engaging with and interacting with "real" posts as opposed to fluff. His activity level also tends to die down as wolf as the game goes on.

As town Borg will be more active as the game goes on in terms of real posts/reads/engagement, and he typically does his best posting/solving D2/3 and beyond

So Borg claims cop and to have already targeted Tims. And claimed that Tims is good. I inherently don't believe this.
Why target Tims?

My initial read after the first 12 hours was Tim was a bit scummy, but multiple people corroborate his playing style as highly town Tim. His later longer read post could easily go either way for me. I like a good set of reads to then be able to stick people to, but it's also an easy way for a wolf to get good.

Is Csargo Csargo? I didn't like earlier posts, but more recently have felt it to be more real. Is my reasoning that he fucks around and that that makes his later townie stuff feel more real, IE: C4's reasoning on Rask? Possibly

Rask I'm on the fence about.

I don't really have good vibes about Winston or Gnome yet. I'd place my suspicions in that direction, not sure which of the two yet. Winston how do you feel about Rask?

yeah, hk's analysis of borg is on point, and that leads me to tl him. i don't really see any reservation from borg interacting with people and that's usually a pretty good indicator of their alignment imo.

my goal here is to eat the N1 or dunk on Wolf Tim in F3

ahh gotcha, ok.
I've found Tim to generally flood regardless of alignment.
When Tim is town generally he will find things he doesn't like about someone and poke at them till they either cough up a wolf pelt OR they are found to be town.
When Tim is a wolf generally he lets the thread take it's own direction and will nudge things along but doesn't "hard push" obvs townies.

Dunno wtf Tim is doing in this game tho. I want to town read him for a couple posts, including his reads list even though he says it's inaccurate and has too many wolves.

Okay this is the only honest thing that has been said about me this game so far. So far I joked about collecting three heads and circling back for Argon. That is a pretty typical joke for me. The Blues Brothers not quite quote about killing Csargo was also I thought pretty obviously mostly a joke.

The reads list, day one, even before everyone has posted? Never done that before EVER. Had MANY day one knock down dragout tilts over refusing to give reads, both as town or wolf. A huge warning sign on Raskol is that he should be deep into WTF is Tim up to now? and he seems totally cool about it.

Argon is flat lying and I'm not sure what to make of that. I am town, but there is no way a n0 cop check on me comes back anything like miller so that part at the very least he made up out of thin air.

Just playin' some Mafia. I have a very strong anti-meta tilt, so every game I at least play a different style than my last game, and as often as I have the juice I play in some style I have never tried. Claiming a role on D1 is not good for the town.

If he is a regular townie and he claims a role like that he might clear mafia from suspicion as the game progresses. Bad for the town.
If he actually is a Cop like he claimed he just made himself a target for the mafia. Bad for the Town.
If he is mafia claiming to be a Cop and the town actually believes him then he could clear another mafia. Bad for the Town again.

I haven't played mafia with him before unlike some of you so perhaps this is what he does usually in games... :shrug:

I have set myself a meta so that even now that I am a cop mafia can't tell if I am lying or not. The only way they can tell is if I green check one of them and then I probably will be ignored. I have played with most of the people here so I feel like I can pull this off without disrupting town. Once I get a red check I will share it since getting one of the mafia is probably as good as it will get. Then all my green checks will be cleared when the mafia silences me.

Can't say whether it's old school or not. I'm still finding footing myself amid a group I'm mostly unfamiliar with.

I'm not sold on Tim and I do think his reply to what he's up to isn't 100% believable. It's devoid of connection to the game itself and rather a post about his own style. Arguments about that are not as productive as actual reads and substantial commenting. But he did answer my question! I guess Timsup2nothin!? (Honestly this whole day has been Tim trying to get us to say "updog")

The mafia would most likely include at least one person who has played with Argon. If he is town he is playing along his standard meta and mafia who have played with him may well be hesitant about getting baited into killing a vanilla townie that seems like a potential mischop. I have seen it go both ways.

Tim , LA , Laurentus, Vro and above all HK can confirm that J have obvious reasons for single hit and run. I have school and I got to study as well at home , so you won't see much of me on D1 . My activity rises as the game goes forward, and I can gurantee that I will be of some use later on.

been thinking about how I would play with Argon in the pack...I think if he is wolf with you you just have to trust him to get clear, so I wouldn't be expecting any panic even if he is a wolf
