Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Well, Jolt declined to respond again and was just here, so this is a notice for everyone: I'm not going to address any nonsense on the level of Jolt's comments again. He may not be scum and just be really off about everything, but it's a waste of every single person's time. So go ahead and post pointless stuff like that in the thread if you must but I will ignore and others probably should too, wastes everyone's time and gives the scum a shot to get people riled up.
If you actually have a reason to say something, then go ahead and actually say it, rather than lie. Character assassination without a reason is scummy, just saying "so-so isn't a good guy and I vaguely think he lied about something" over and over again doesn't make it true. Give us your counterclaim, whether you're claiming I'm not the Black Knight, didn't have the item I said I have, wasn't attacked in the writeups, or whatever, and give us your evidence. Saying "oh, something about Earthling isn't true" and not saying what nor providing evidence is pointless. And for the record, just so you know I'm not overlooking and it often comes up in these games, one other reason you could accuse someone of lying is if they claimed they did something or something happened and didn't, like "I watched Bob with my telescope and Bob killed someone." This clearly is completely unrelated here. Did I claim I performed any successful action on MRD? No. MRD completely made up his random joke that I was the person with a silencer item but I never said anything of the sort and it's clearly not true, nor has he ever even been silenced despite how many of us probably would have enjoyed that outcome. Otherwise, everything I've said about him including critical stuff is because of his actions, statements, and votes in the thread, not some private action being hidden from the public view.

Earthling - you state MRD has to be mafia because he saved seon and the only reason he could have had is that MRD was also mafia. Faulty logic.
Also, he spoke up when the bandwagon was going on somebody else - not something mafia typically does.

LOL! Ie. Earthling means "You make a bunch of good points about how I'm likely scum, so I won't even address them"
Now, if you'll excuse me I need to get back to making a noose for tomorrow.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Earthling, I sincerely appreciate the fact that you're playing the heck out of this game, but you really don't have to respond to every single post someone makes that mentions you. It's practically impossible to keep up with everything you've said because you say... so... much... And I don't know Fluffyone's faction yet; we're just backscratching.
I'm very curious to know if there's going to be some big twist that none of us were expecting in this game. I've only read the commentaries on two of ATPG's previous Mafia games and both of them contained significant behind-the-scenes elements that no one was aware of when the game started. It seems like this game is chaotic enough (pun unintended, but I LOL'd myself) without any extra surprises, but I'm halfway expecting one anyway.

So Jolt, stop lying about me. Tell me what you think I lied about and quote it. You ignored me before, because you want to keep calling me a liar and making people think there's some controversy and the town shouldn't like me. But you have no evidence and are simply making it up. I didn't lie about anything that matters at this point, and at most I lied about maybe two things, one of which was trivial, the other already extensively addressed.
I ignored you when? If you meant that post where you said you were right (Actually one of many where you said that; for a Mafia game, you do say you're right a lot, which is yet another thing that smells fishy about you.), I simply laughed because you had already said that you had defended with an ability when the write-up color clearly shows it was due to an item. It doesn't matter if you say if it was an ability, if it was Santa Claus or Osiris. The color is there, in the same color of that of the items and it was not put there at chance. It also makes reference to some sort of item. The truth of the matter is there, and only those who refuse to see it, do not. I had already said this, so I wasn't going to repeat myself (Yet just did). Since facts contradict your version, that is your hard, undenying proof that you are lying. And yes, it doesn't matter if you say it isn't this way (You already did btw).

Just for the record: Now I can't leave my computer and must check on the thread every 1/2 minutes? Heh.
Regardless, it will all boil down to whether MRD is Mafia, in which case you would have been right all along. If he isn't, then your whole elaborate theory of extensive cooperation with saving mafiosi and lynching non-townies will crumble to dust.
In regards to the silencer story, if the Mafia/MRD had the silencer and wished to incriminate you, all they needed to do was silence MRD/prevent him from talking publicly to non-mafiosi. Obviously if you do have the silencer, you would never silence MRD.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Actually, I thought you'd dropped that claim because it's so incredibly wrong and embarassing for you. However, if you want to insist, the point stands - I didn't lie and already told the truth. An item was not used in protecting myself from that night attack nor the one before it, it was a combination of purchased self-defense and innate item-less ability.
You apparently don't know how to read a write-up and don't understand flavor. Now it seems you're only claiming this because of how you thought you read the write-up, not claiming you actually had other evidence about what items I had or anything like that. I do encourage you to go on whatever quest for this grail you think means something and doesn't. As I said before if you really feel it's necessary petition the host if you think the color in the writeup or some other factor is misleading. I'd point out the write-up was not even equivalent to, say, the bolded text of other player's retaliatory items or Ganondorf's Triforce or whatnot. But you're wrong and you're really stretching this to attempt to make it an issue. If the host ends up clarifying, it will show that I'm correct.
Further, I'd like to point out that you attempted to criticize the writeup and make a vague statement about Jedi Power and whatever when you thought that someone else could have been the Black Knight. In other words, your problem with the write-up was independent of knowing my identity, you're simply wrong about how you read it or are hiding something yourself for some scummy reason.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
If anybody else has already posted these observations, I'm sorry for being redundant, but after briefly analyzing the Summary Thread and noting the items left by players with certain cards, I observed the following:
Both players with 3 cards had perfect faction scanning items with 10% investigatory (but so did a 9).
Both 8 cards and one 7 card had 10% retaliatory items.
The J and Q of Clubs both had 10% retaliatory items.
Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but it would seem that there could be some real correlation between cards and items, at least.
EDIT: Also, Choxorn and civplayah didn't drop anything when they died. I assume they started with stuff, but they had already been stolen. Don't know if he can comment on that now, but I thought I'd mention it.
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
I won't clarify whether a defense in a writeup is an item or an ability, but I will say it can be either one.
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
I can add to that with something rather significant actually, but it's not consistent with others' cards in the same way nor my own faction. I have the 10 of Hearts and Ganondorf, who turned out to be the only person who could easily kill me and also overall really powerful in a lot of ways, had a 10.
Also just general food for thought, though I've said enough and won't be back to thread till tomorrow - how would people feel about switching the lynch to someone like Jolt or Crazed Rabbit? The largest benefit being that we wouldn't have to fight MRD, Skooma, and Blackadder for last minute wagers as they are probably sitting around planning 40 each, we could maybe save overall credits and save time. MRD would surely be game with his 40 credits and all, and if he really has settled on a consistent final story as a thief which is backed up by other players maybe he could live a little longer and we could see if he's ultimately not a chaotic. And I'd be game because it's absolutely ridiculous what they're trying to set up, if MRD is not chaotic it means that somehow the Black Knight wasn't attacked in the night writeups. They're trying to steer a lynch onto me for unrelated reasons, as I said it's because the chaotics obviously fear they won't be able to nightkill me, but the more this keeps on happening the more worrisome the effects of a wasted lynch get. We'd also have the benefit of lots of data on how people would react to the new switch and/or role reveal, really interesting what's up with these others here.

Considering I've been playing Mafia for a couple of years with relative frequence, so I wouldn't rule out my write-up reading that quickly. That said, and since you besides holding all the facts in the palm of your hand, also have clearly superior foresight in write-up reading abilities, could you enlighten me as to what does the blue in:

I attempted to criticize the write-up? (Like, I insulted the text verbally, and failed?) and made vague statements? Quote please. You then somehow link this all to me hiding myself? :laugh4:
Brilliant. Quote please, and do connect the dots and the lines to see where you get from me voluntarily saying to Greyblades after he said he was attacked (And the write-up only shows one person being attacked and surviving. But maybe since you can read write-ups, you can infer some information that is oblivious to me), that he/Black Knight was a pretty strong character - to me hiding something/myself. Please do that.

Oh my. So your theory that MRD is close cooperation with Seon and in killing other townies is already failing and MRD isn't even dead?
So you now wanna cut fluffy out of our uber three chaotics out to kill you, to "ask town" to lynch us? Because we are the ones that are actually seeing your incongruencies?
I have a feeling it isn't me or CR that's gonna take the swing tomorrow.

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Earthling's attempts at looking unkillable may be a ploy to discourage people from attacking him so he does not have to spend money on defense. I tried it after round 1, but as people pressed me for facts and others had for-real hits tried on them, I had to tell the truth.
Shlin: I stole your bulletproof item because you got the only bulletproof item from the loot stash, so I fugured you already had one to combine it with, and I was right. I even mentioned in a post that I wanted that one more than any others, and traded votes for it. It had nothing to do with you being scummy and everything to do with me practicing my steal ability. Theft balances out the old boy item voting network, and until peopel start sharing their scans so I can pick targets, publicly then I will steal whatever from whomever. It that makes me deserve a lynch, then so be it
ACIN your plan makes no sense that you would kill fluffy and CR after I was found to be only evil. In fact, I am starting to doubt the legitamcy of your flip-out earlier. Outing the other recipients of my email was completely unecessary as you all got the same mails and you knew they were innocent of any devious collaberation, then you go on to condemn those players in your scenario as if you want to eliminate all association even if they are evil. You more than willingly jumpstarted a bandwagon the first time I mentioned a suspect using a very shaky theory, and this is not the time of year for University midterms. The semester is over in May, is it not?.
As for my "nice story," there are about to be 7 Chaotics vs 34 broke townies. You will find out soon enough. Lesson learned: barely post anything, apparently that is "normal" townie behavior.
What the hell. Bet 40 Earthling

I don't remember saying I would kill fluffy or CR. I said that seems to be the plan that people are going off of. Read my posts please. In fact, my last post I just gave my position that if you are innocent that we should be looking beyond this thing you and Earthling have.
Did you even read what I said? Where did I say anything of the like? I made one post that said that the current trend seems to be kill you, then kill earthling, then kill fluffy and CR. That is my observation not my opinion. Good job attacking one of the few dudes skeptical of your chaotic alignment.
And please, please do some research before you attack my personal life. See my location? That says University of California: Santa Cruz. Did you know that the UC system does not go by semesters? We go on a different system called the quarter system. year begins in late September, and there are three quarters, with each being only 10 weeks long. My current quarter, Spring 2011 started on March 28th. Depending on whether or not your class has one or two midterms, you start having your midterms anywhere from 3.5-5 weeks after the beginning of the quarter.

Good job attacking a supporter of yours without any facts. Now I don't even care if you are innocent.

From what I have read in these past couple pages this seems to be how things are playing out:
1. Kill MRD. If he is innocent goto 2.
2. Kill Earthling. If he is innocent goto3.
3. Kill CR and Fluffy. If they are innocent goto 4.
4. Chaotics win.
I have a strong feeling both MRD and Earthling are innocent in this and we are getting screwed over here but I can't say that for sure because I am not even sure if MRD is innocent. But I don't want this viewpoint to go unheard before the lynch.
So in this post I said:
1. Don't pile credits on MRD.
2. This trend of future lynches including killing fluffy and CR seem to be a bad idea.
3. I really don't think MRD or Earthling are chaotics.
And you attack me as if I said the very opposite. Congrats bro.
-
Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Of course I didn't read your post, and no one is reading mine, and remember I am a liar who will do anything to keep from being lynched because I am Chaotic but not really or maybe I am but I don't think so. Regardless, you should have never mentioned the emails recipients, that was a total skank move. I would hesitate to call you a supporter. You got my back? Waaaaaaay back! You are lucky I cannot steal after I am dead.
How was I supposed to know what university you went to? Because it says so in your profile? That is obviously a cover story you put up to hide who you really are. Furthermore, I just got off the phone with that University and they said they have no students named A Completely Inoffensive Name, so I think you have some explaining to do, buddy. Could it be that your real school is named The University of Chaotic?

Re: Askthepizzaguy Mafia II: The Revengening [Game Thread]
Too much walls of text. :dizzy2:
Since Earthling accused me of lying some posts back, I'm going to respond. I don't know why it didn't show up in the main thread and even considered not mentioning it, since I suspected that failed attacks will show up in the main thread in some way, making me look suspcious. But I decided to go public so that the number of attacks could be determined and maybe scare off a follow up.
When speaking to ATPG, he said that it wouldn't trigger from a 0% attack and that I should consider myself lucky.

Interesting. I suppose more people could confirm this, but my role PM didn't mention any hint about a serial killer, only the faction rivalry and the chaotics (that was colour coded for convenience).
Unless APTG varies the outside standard info between the mafia PM, your role PM is more than a regular role...

I'm voting Earthling for revenge. Next is Robbiecon, Romanic and then a few others who drove the bandwagons.
I am not telling you, in any way, shape, or form, who to vote for. Because if I did, which I didn't, and Earthlink turns out ot be innocent, which he's not, then I'm gonna get the blame for lynching an evil. Earthling may just be a guy lying to save his evil skin, improve his evil score, and increase the chances of his faction surviving.
But what really offends me about Earthling is that I was destined to be the worst liar of them all. I was the KING OF LIE. Now Earthlink and his terrible alibis have dethroned me and I am but the DUKE OF LIE.
I want my crown back, scum!!!
