Now here comes the fun part.
As Beskar suggested, I was not being truthful about being infected. And you have no reason to believe me. Sorry atheotes, but I knew I wasn't infected and I had to attempt to stay alive, because a known healthy is better than an unknown cell. By declaring myself infected, it was the only option I had to confuse the infected cells.
Besides, like I said, if I were to become infected that would be a very bad thing for the infected cells. :whip:
And now my reputation will come back and bite me in the buttocks, and we'll kill a healthy cell if you don't believe me.

That's my story. Sorry for being dishonest, but as I learned in TWC's medieval mafia, being a dishonest townie is a useful tactic that can actually help. In that game I claimed to be a mason and I really wasn't. As a result, we formed a pro-town network and we nailed a mafioso.

He announced he was actually the infected cell, so time to save Iskander. Now he is trying to stay alive because he probably got caught out as the person he infected either didn't send in their orders or they infected him again which... Iskander, what happens when that happens?
That's very strange. You just said 5 posts ago that my reveal was a joke. You didn't get infected during the night because there are still only 2 cells infected.
Care to explain?
Explaining implies that I am in the know, unfortunately, I don't so there is nothing to explain. I haven't got a clue why there are no new infections.
Here, allow me...
from the rules, it seems to say that the infected cells do not know who infected them. That means, they could attempt to infect a cell that is already infected, and it results in nothing. Their lack of communication between one another is their weakness. They don't know who to infect next. That is why I attempted to suggest I was already infected, because although the infected cell from last round would know I was lying, they might assume I was the person that infected them to begin with.
I believe this deception is the reason why they accidentally chose the person who infected them to begin with as their infection target. That would explain why there are no additional infected cells.
If I were the infected cell from last round, I would have accepted that risk as a possibility and not "revealed" at all. I'm not stupid, you have to give me more credit than that.
But as you said, they might have saw your reveal as a joke not to get infected but they called you on it and did infect you. I haven't got a clue what is going through the minds of the infected.

Operating on the assumption Beskar was attempting to telegraph to his partner (indicating he was the original infection) that I was joking about being infected, then we know we have to lynch him eventually. Of greater importance is lynching his partner, who must have targeted Beskar last night (or no one, I suppose) instead of the healthy cells.

This makes no sense. Why would they not infect someone? Atheotes was not infected at all.

Even if Beskar manages to get me lynched this round, when the number of infected cells remains the same, he's gonna look really bad. That should also help narrow down who his partner is.

- Did he a voting U-turn when I suspected him to get Atheotes lyched instead of him.
- He claimed he was the infected.
- Now the votes say there isn't another infected, he starts crying he is not infected and it was all jokes.
- When I accuse him of playing up, he tries to form a bandwagon on me.
- Because some one else is not buying his bull, he is accusing of them too.
In short -
Ask the Infected Guy is playing desperate as Mafia to stay alive or he will lose.
I don't believe you have been infected, just nothing your inconsistency. But if you have it all figured out, then don't let me stop you.
