Yeah, I can't see this doing anything but create confusion. Reminds me of a time when the Canadian Football League contained the Ottawa Roughriders and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Hmm, this could be the perfect time to change my name to Unvote.

Or "myself", or "traitorix."

Can you please change your name? Hosting a game is already enough work, I don't want to deal with the confusion having your name as "Warman" causes.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Alright, I've decided that I'm not going to type out Warman's ridiculous name, I will continue to refer to him as Warman. Since I don't really want to type out Populous Romanus either though, I will refer to him as Pop Rocks.
Vote: Pop Rocks for confusing me.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Populus:
Also, No Lynch plz.
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Vote: Johhog, reasons as above.
Vote: Populous as a means of exerting pressure. Thoughts?
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Exerting pressure for me to change my name back? :inquisitive: By the way it was spelled Populus.
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
Vote: Johhog
Vote: Populous
I'm up for some pressure.

Makes sense, agreed. Vote: Johhog
Well, now it's just about the process of elimination. :embarassed:
Vote: No Lynch

Re: Three Wolf Moon [In Play]
vote: Believer
You voted for me for no reason other than my changing my name. You are trying to hide behind the bandwagon on me to make yourself look innocent. Furthermore, you say that you want to pressure me, without giving any information whatsoever on what you want to know. when I specifically stated in the post above yours that I wanted to know what the pressure was for. And last but not least, you misspelled my former name. :brood:

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
Looks like I voted improperly, so I'll vote: Populus the Warman to obscure my shame.
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
Instead of voting me because I changed my name, vote Believer who is scummy.
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
The hell is wrong with the mafia? Are they afraid of me because I'm actually playing instead of leeching off the town? Or is it because jht said he would kill me the first chance he got over on TWC? Or is it because they saw that post and are trying to get me to think it was john? And why am I asking so many questions? Aren't I dead? Braaaaaains?

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
Vote: Believer
Memnon, was there any particular reason you scanned Johhog?
-
Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
vote: Popular Romulan - because it's the popular thing to do.
vote: Warman

Absolutely no reason at all, just a blind guess. Eh, I guess we have our second mafia victim. Sorry, Johhog.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
Really not liking this bandwagon, especially Believer and Montmorency. Believer especially seems to have just jumped on both popular votes, not to mention he's third on the bandwagon. But then Monty comes along with an even weaker vote.
Unvote: PR, Vote: Montmorency

This is yet the beginning. All votes are weak.

Doesn't change the fact that you've hopped on the first bandwagon to role by two rounds in a row. At least pretend to put some effort in.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
My No Lynch failed anyway.

Ok, everyone, his name's back, time to vote for someone else (not me, not me, not me):creep:

No one never accomplished nothing by not lynching someone.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
So who do you want us No-Lynchers to lynch, huh? I feel conflicted when I vote, because I know that if I vote for someone who it will affect, then I'll accused of jumping on the bandwagon, if I vote for someone out of the blue, then they do an OMGUS vote, and I'd rather not have the bandwagoners after me, there's just not enough evidence for me to feel confident about any choice yet.:dizzy2:

Very concerned about getting lynched, are we? Sounds scummy to me. Generally you don't catch anyone early on unless your lucky. The problem with No Lynch is that it's effectively a waste, as there is zero chance of catching scum.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
No lynch is better for town. It gives us time to identify everyone. Of course, it's not good for the backlog of Mafia games. I just realized that recently.

No it's not. It slows the game to a crawl and means there is rarely a case built against anyone, as theres no real point in posting. Lynches are a finite resource, we only get so many of them so wasting them is bad.

Re: Three Wolf Moon [Sign-Ups]
Vey iz mir.
Random lynches are worthless. The less lynches, the more day phases. The more day phases, the more the shirt gets used. The more the shirt gets used, the more people are identified. The more people identified, the likelier it is that one of the mafiosi will be caught. If one of the mafiosi is caught, we use one of our sweet, precious lynches to devastating effect.

Random investigations aren't much better than random lynches. Your way will just make the game last twice as long without actually improving our chances. Unless the mafia are stupid and don't kill people who are proven innocent.
