Subotan hoped for a change of the mind, or Lord Naritsugu being an 天邪鬼(person who does the opposite of what they say) but alas it wasn't the case.
Naritsugu simply wanted to chew Subotan on the neck. Testing if its fun to do it.
Subotan screamed in agony, Naritsugus man looked away in pure fear even Kitou couldn't directly watch horrific sight.
Eventually Naritsugu was done with the torture.
Subotan is no more

Yaropolk and Sasaki stepped forward, but were stopped by scary looking Lord Naritsugu.
"Step back you two. I want to see God Emperor and Classical Hero fight"
All the Samurais complained how their 8 hours worth of heated debate was completely wasted, but they couldn't disobey Lord Naritsugu with blood pouring from his mouth. Eventually Classical Hero and God Emperor stepped forward to fight.
Kitou sneaked up on Naritsugu and asked.
"Why them my lord?"
Naritsugu gently smiled and replied.
"God Emperor and Classical Hero. I don't like how they both have western names. And the fact that it sounds stronger then me."
Kitou gently slapped Lord Naritsugus head a couple of times (or imagining how good will it be if he could actually do it) and retreated to his position.
"Commence the duel!"
God Emperor meditated. When he sensed the emotions were bonded to one, he exploded the emotion. He revolved into tier six, making him (look) very amazing.
"Who do you think you are? I AM GOD EMPEROR! I conquered 7 oceans! 11 countries! 2 pubs! and no women! I AM GOD EMPEROR!"
Shouting out some what embarrassing things, God Emperor aimed his sword on the orthodox Chudan Kamae.
Despite the writers favouritism for God Emperor (I shall have no more lonely christmases! HEARD THAT ORGAHS!!? ), Classical_Hero was clearly stronger. He was one of the better warrior in the castle and God Emperor has won no practice duel against him thus far.
But God Emperor today was special. He went through hundred and thousands of image training. Focusing only on defeating Classical Hero.... Okay occasionally drifting off to other directions, but he worked hard for this day. Today will be the day to defeat Classical Hero in front of Lord Naritsugu.
"Prepare to die, Classical Hero!!" God Emperor charged at Classical Hero. Classical Hero couldn't dodge the attack, barely managing to block the first strike.
"YARGH!!" Just as his simulation, God Emperor throw away his sword and threw a tackle. After rolling on the ground couple of times, God Emperor successfully managed to disarm Classical Hero as well (Meanwhile, Lord Naritsugu enjoyed two men rolling on the ground)
After a few exchange of fists, God Emperor shoved in an elbow which disabled Classical Hero for couple of seconds. He quickly ran for his sword and attempted to finish off Classical Hero.
But recovered Classical Hero wasn't going to go down that easily. He blocked the blade away with his arm and gave God Emperor a very clean upper strike.
"SYOURYUKEN!!"

Day dawns. If there was someone patrolling the castle, he would've realised that pathway to Lord Naritsugu was wide open. As many of the Samurais headed off, to do what they think is necessary to protect Lord Naritsugu.
There was one to start off. One by one, Samurais joined in the march and by the time they reached the destination, there were 10 of them. All with an common cause, to bring end to the one... Lord of Lent.
Lord of Lent was practicing his writing. In the eyes of the ignorant, his writing was already excellent. But this stoic Samurai writes to reach perfection. Lord of Lent sensed a chiver in his spine, he quickly wrote his last words "仁”and went out to the battle field.
It rains. Heavy rain drop striking the pond, the garden where 10 samurai stands with their swords out. Lord of Lent sadly smiled and said
"This is where paranoia leads to."
One of the attackers announced.
"In the name of great lord Naritsugu, you are under arrest. Lay down your arms, or we will be forced to use our swords."
"Will do if and only if I get a proper trial. Which I doubt. In that case, I have no choice but to fight."
Lord of Lent drew out his sword and aimed in Chudan Gamae. Nothing too fancy, but a best shot at getting out of this trouble without fleeing.
Lord of Lent charged at the front man, but immediately realised that none of them were someone he can over power. He got him self surrounded in less then a second. Just as he was about to leave this cruel world, he left a last message.
"Take a deep breath. Open your eyes. Listen, smell and sense it with your entire body.This is the fate of a true samurai, living in this era. This is the fate all of you will follow"
Everyone on the front line except Lord of Lent sensed the right time to swing their sword. With that Lord of Lent was no more.

Slashandburn was walking around the castle, looking to wipe the blood of his hands. Was it the blood of the rabbit? Or blood of someone whom he killed just then. Rain was convenient and was working well but he wanted something more. He found a pond and he dived in.
"Out slashandburn. Garden pond is no place to play in."
Slashandburn looked around and found three man looking down. They didn't look like they were here to warn him. More like they were here to kill him.
"Ey ladies. Cmon, its a rainy day. Even you samurais gotta have some fun."
"Pass. Now come out Slashandburn. We have some debts to settle."
Slashandburn, unlike his barbaric looks, calculated his chance of victory. He was confident he can beat anyone on a fist fight, but not three man fully armed.
He needed an mixed tactic to win this fight. He didn't need to win like these Samurais. He just needed to win. He came up with an idea.
"Cming out. 2 seconds."
Suddenly he jumped out of the pond, fully "unarmed" except his wodden stick and the big long stick he was born with.
This surprise attack certainly worked to reduc the distance between him and the attackers. He successfully knocked down one of the attacker.
"Two more huh?"
Chance of victory was still desperately low. His swing was easily dodged. Third attacker will recover in few seconds. He threw a rock, which missed. He then took the last option, to run.
"Wait you coward!" shouted one of the Samurai, but the other reacted faster. He threw his sword, clearly getting Slashandburn in the back. He slowly drew out his shorter sword "wakisashi" and delivered another slash. He concluded by kicking slashandburn in the pond, pond turning clearly visibly red even in the rain.
Three attackers left the scene, satisfied.

From what he's told me, Pizza organised seven people to attack Lord of Lent; why there were an additional three present, I do not know.
Whoever the second vig group was, it wasn't organised by Pizza.
Just to clairfy what I said earlier, based on the write-ups from the two nights, I believe slashandburn is the solo killer who killed Renata. They both are described as wild and barbaric and use a wooden sword.
Also, there is one way for the town to have a net increase in strength via duels, if there is a duel involving at least one 0 strength individual, then the winner will gain 1 strength and the loser will die. We lose a player through that, though, so I think it's a net loss.

Only ATPG was attacked by scum, so we need find out who did it. So we have two vigs attcks and only one worked, so I do want to know how Slashandburn survived, so I will wait until I hear from him.

First of all, vote: slashandburn. I think he's an SK.
After the victory with ATPG Sasaki is probably at 3 strength. You don't want to make any one too strong, particularly Sasaki. If he's pro-town it makes him an easy kill for mafia to get rid of 5 points of defense in 1 night kill. If he's anti-town it gives more oomph to mafia's attacks. And if he's Sasaki, someone will surely die because of this.Quote:

I'd argue against this: From my point of view, the writeup suggests that Slash lives despite being defeated. He seems strong, yes, but he's ultimately overpowered and only survives because of some inhuman endurance.Quote:

@Renata, I just didn't like his over-the-top paean to our lord. I think being a scyophant is only acceptable if you're weak. Therefore, we should check if he is weak. Whether we actually kill him if he is not is something to be decided tomorrow. Really he just seemed like as good a duel candidate as anyone.

I have a neutral role, my goal is survival, i killed renata on night one because i thought she was suspicious. My character can survive one combat loss at night due to his incredible endurance.
Alone I am stronger than almost anyone but as you saw a group can defeat me.
I can win with the town because my goal is survival so i will offer my assassin services humbly.

No, he was one of the 2Str combatants that Beskar mentioned; he knows full-well who is cohorts are though, which is why it puzzles me that he threw this statement at Beskar when he was perfectly capable of providing that information himself.

Or that the point of Sasaki and Diamond voting for Beskar was to pressure him into revealing. Which is the question you asked. Seguing my answer into speculation about whether I am or am not in the vig group is baseless.
