I like LazyMcCrow's view. I'd forgotten that Ishmael was the one who made that Visorlash comment. Definitely a possibly throw suspicion to make an easy target down the line. It's almost like "I'm going to compliment you, but get you lynched for it" type of thing.
Also, I'm willing to give Sasaki's vision a shot.

Sasaki is good, but that doesn't make him always right. Ishmael's posts do come across as jokey most of the time, which might be considered as scumy, but Sasaki's accusation seems pretty jokey as well.

While the tourists were enjoying their barbecue, they discussed the events of the past nights.
Suddenly, a voice could be heard whispering through the palm leaves. A voice calling Ishmaels' name.
Slowly, the conversations came to an end and most tourists simply stared at Ishmael.
"What?" he said.
"It's you! The voices are telling us and the voices never lie."
"Voices? Have you all grown mad?" Suddenly, Ishmael stared at the meat in his hand. "What are we doing? We're eating human flesh! And we claim to hear voices! We pretend that we're looking for murderers, but look at ourselves! What has become of us??"
"You won't fool us, Ishmael!"
"No! I don't want to end up as your next meal! No! No!"
A loud voice could be heard in the sky: "You never seemed to have a problem feeding humans to the Trollocs!"
"No! Not me! Not me!"
A tourist grinned and said "Fine. We'll eat shark tonight."
An hour later, a hook was pierced through Ishmaels body and several cuts were made all over his body. The hook was attached with a roop to a big tree.
The tourists threw Ishmael into the water, close to the place where they had spotted a giant white shark.
Allthough he was losing blood fast, Ishmael kept screaming and yelling, in panic.
Soon, the shark came near.
The last thing Ishmael saw in this world was a giant mouth with teeth the size of daggers, sharp as razor blades.
"Bingo!" the tourists yelled as they saw the shark not being able to get rid of the hook in its' mouth. "Tonight we eat shark!"
None of them noticed the giant black hand grabbing Ishmaels' soul and putting it in a cour'souvra. The Great Lord of the Dark Andres laughed hysterically at Ishmael's soundless screaming. Eternal torture would be his. Such is the faith of all those who mock The Great Lord.

Note: For those not getting some references in the write-up, here's some clarification: Ishmael is a character in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. He is the most powerful of the "Forsaken"; mighty Chanellers of the One Power, chosen by the Great Lord of the Dark. Ishmael is the nemesis of Rhand Altor, the Dragon and Champion of the powers of the Light.
Trollocs can be compared with Tolkiens Orcs. They eat human flesh.
A cour'souvra is a mind trap.
Love the references Andres, although technically it's Ishamael that's the Forsaken (I made a typo when creating the account, but decided to leave it as 'Ishmael' is easier to type). Very nicely done though!
EDIT: Although now that I think of it, the whole 'shark bait' thing works equally well if we're talking about the Ishmael from 'Moby Dick.' Food for thought...(terrible pun intended).
Thanks for not making us eat human flesh again. Using fellow humans as shark bait is perfectly fine with me :clown:
Anyway, sorry Sasaki, your logic makes sense, the problem is, it's not a given that Ishmael is/was scum and I still doubt it.

Rain was pouring down on the Island.
Soaked through, autolycus was running, looking for a cave. The roof he had made from some palm leaves wasn't exactly a succes.
Suddenly, somebody yelled at him.
autolycus looked into the direction of the sound and he saw a figure waving and pointing at what seemed to be a cave.
Grateful, he ran towards the gesticulating figure. Too late, he saw that the man was holding a rock which he threw straight into autolycus' face.
He fell down, but wasn't unconscious, just a little dizzy.
The man walked over to him and said softly:
"Are you the Gorbachev? I am the only one who is allowed to kill here."
"What? What man? What are you talking about? Are you completely out of your mind? I'm not one of the murderers."
His attacker came near, carrying a rock in both his hands. He threw one of them, again straight into autolycus' face, breaking his nose upon impact. The man quickly kicked autolycus a few times in the stomach, on his back, against his head and finally in the groin. With a giant swing, he finished the job by smashing the other rock with full power against autolycus' head.
Constantly moving his head back and forth, the killer kneeled down and started to write a message in the sand...

Dimitri saw the lone tourist on the beach. Because of the rain, they were the only ones outside.
He walked over to the tourist, waving his hand.
hero di classico waved back.
"It's high tide now. The sea is a bit rougher than otherwise, but that makes it the more beautiful. And I love how the rain is pouring down. It makes me feel... clean."
Dimitri nodded and came a bit closer. Suddenly, he punched hero di classico in the face. Three or four more punches followed quickly and hero di classico fell on the ground. After a few more kicks in the face and against the back of his head, he fell unconscious.
Dimitri took the rope out of his pocket and bound hero di classico's feet together and then threw him in the ocean.
He lit up a cigarette and left the scene, leaving hero di classico to drown in his beautiful sea...

The Island - Day 3
The tourists came out of the cave where they had all found shelter against the rainstorm of that night.
Shocked, they stared at the body of autolycus. Next to him, a message was written in the sand:
" A mercenary is a friend - as long as he fights.
If you are brave, contact me. Let us use each other before the end.
We're going to have a great time together."
Since they still had some shark left, they buried the body instead of eating it and walked over to the beach.
It was low tide now and one of them saw how hero di classico's head bobbed above the water.
A couple of them jumped into the ocean to retrieve the body.
The tourists looked at each other and with a depressed feeling and they started the proceedings again.

That'w why I wanted to know what the SK meant by it. As I've pointed out, according to the writeups (which you believe to be flavor), it has started going after Mafia specifically.
I believe it to be either flavour, a joke, or actually going after mafia.
I need to think some more.

Well, if you think about it, why would the Serial Killer write the message in the first place? And after the message you are trying to use it to trap? And you do it in a way that makes it seem as though you're either mafia of town... I think you wrote it yourself so you could approach people with it and when people came forward in thread (because of course they would) you could run the gambit off as a townie trying to trap scum.Quote:

Couldn't you have chipped in last day phase with that sort of reasoning edse? Having played with him before, I don't think Montmorency is scum (So of course he will be, now that I've said that). His actions and posting style seem pretty typical of him. Personally I think Lewwyn is looking the most scummy, but that's just based off intuition and I haven't played much with him before, so take that with a grain of salt.

So maybe, maybe not. They could certainly just have Dmitri kill all the time, just to discredit Ishmael. Smarter would be to continue this pattern of alternating killers; if one of them is eventually killed, it gives Mafia an extra day to sow confusion before a lynch is discredited as Mafia.

The SK was wanting to work with the Mafia, not with the town. The idea being, he wanted the Mafia to start looking for him as his biggest risk is actually the Mafia and not the fact he may get lynched.
Strangely, it seems Vote: Montmorency falls for this basic trap, trying to discover the SK, as by the same argument, the biggest threat to the Mafia is getting nightkilled. Montmorency was only outed by Visorslash in attempting to do this.
So Montmorency the Mafia was tricked into revealing.

It was a chaotic day.
While most tourists were discussing things in public, one man whispered to his neighbour, who suddenly screamed, while pointing at Montmorency: "He's whispering! He must be a murderer!"
Several tourists nodded in agreement.
"Perhaps he just has a sore throat," somebody less keen to vote the whisperer suggested.
"Well, I guess that's a possiblity..."
And so, other tourists started to stare angrily at those voting somebody because he had a sore throat. Eventually, at the end of the day, Chaotix found himself at the receiving end of most accusations.
"I call upon the forces of Loki and Chaos to save me!" Chaotix yelled waving his arms around.
Suddenly, lightning bolts came down, vulcano's erupted and the earth trembled. Trees flew around the Island, four men dressed as knights and four others dressed as exploded pumpkins flew above the Island, chased by a yellow policecar and a purple firefighter car, manned by attractive ladies disguised in a bunny costume, all of this while a fanfare played "Oh when the saints go marching in". Violins, pianos and a cocktailbar appeared and then got swallowed by the earth again and a whale could be seen at the steering wheel of a pink submarine floating through the air while 50 samurai ran over the Island, over the sea and up to the skies. Suddenly, it started to rain oranges, drivers' licences, bud light and leather trousers. A choir could be heard, rubber ducks could be seen dancing in the palm trees and an egg seemed to be in a hurry for it's appointment at the hairdresser. A deer with a red hairband was seen, yelling "I'm Rambi" and a yellow bird waving an AK-47 screamed 'I'm in the tree and I'm dangerous!' Elephants were singing the Belgian anthem while black giraffes were dancing the lambada and famous rockstars could be seen licking sand and rocks. The sky turned purple, yellow, red, green and then back to blue.
The madness stopped abruptly.
The tourists looked around them, not sure about what had just happened. Miraculously, nobody seemed harmed. Except for one tourist. Chaotix. One of the flying pianofortes had hit him against his head. Apparently, the blow was a fatal one...
A voice in the sky could be heard. "Well, at least I tried... Sorry..."

That is certainly one of the more...unusual kill write-ups that I've ever seen. That's a compliment, Andres :beam:.
Andres' games are ones I read even when I have no interest in playing. He's awesome.

Another rain storm hit the Island that night.
Sitting on a branch of a palm tree, some 8 meters above the ground, an odd looking figure was scanning the environment for its' victim.
Sitting some ten meters further, also on a branch at about the same height, was a man, frantically looking to the left and right. He was bleeding from his left arm where the predator had hit him with a sharp object some 15 minutes ago.
Tiaexz was slowly calming down. He probably lost his attacker. While he was breathing a sigh of relief, a sharp tone almost deafened him while, at the same time, the weight of what seemed to be another man, made the branch moving up and down heavily.
A sharp object pierced through the skin between his head and neck. The object was moved forward, slicing Tiaexz' throat. The predator didn't stop cutting and when he was finally done, he ripped out Tiaexz spine with one abrupt movement. The predator almost immediately started to clean the skull and the spine and when he was finished, he threw the rest of the body on the flour, stood up on the branch and screamed victorious, while holding the spine high up...

Hanging upside down, landlubber tried to figure out where it went wrong. What had he ever done to deserve this cruel fate? All he ever wanted was a well-deserved vacation. Some luxury, a sunny beach, beautiful women, cocktails, parties... He really deserved it!
As if having to sit on a ship to get here wasn't already bad enough, there were nutjobs among the other tourists killing everybody! That wasn't mentioned it the advertisement!
And now, it seemed like it was his turn.
He looked up, looked at his chest and watched the cirkles with a red dot in the middle with aggony.
"I'm not a dartsboard!!!" he yelled. "Please, don't do this, oh please, no."
He heard laughing voices, followed by a stab in his leg.
"Ooops! That was off the Island!"
The two men laughed hysterically with the awful joke.
landlubber didn't make a sound. At the very least, he could die honorabl...
landlubber screamed and yelled loudly when another pointed stick was stuck in him, now piercing through his crown jewels.
His attackers laughed again. The laughter stopped abruptly and after a brief moment of silence (minus landlubbers' yelling) another pointed stick was stuck into the unfortunate landlubber.
The word "Bullseye!" was the last thing he ever heard in this live...

The Island - Day 4
The tourists were gathered at the beach.
Some were highly disappointed to see the victims of the previous night already buried. A few suggested to dig them back up, since there was no longer shark meat left and they had to eat something!
Other tourists rejected that suggestion firmly and so, they would start the proceedings without having breakfeast, lunch nor dinner...
