Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
It is Chaotix? How bout that.
vote: Chaotix
(Another confirmation from a living person this time; Beskar told me about an hour ago that someone was supposed to be protecting him, and also that someone had the name of the person in question, in case the protection did not materialize.)
Waiting for your scapegoat, Chaotix, if it is one.

So did Niklas, Sigurd's tally was wrong.
I was talking to Beskar a good deal over the last 24 hours. First, his death should not have happened, Yoda told him he was protected:

Second, he was concerned about Niklas due to the death of Mace Windu:

My discussion with Beskar is what prompted me do a re-read of the thread, mainly targetted at Niklas. As far as I was aware, Beskar was intending to investigate Niklas last night. I believe Niklas got him first.

This is utter bovine excrement; if it wasn't you that was intended to protect Beskar but this Jedi Master... well it seems to be that you've been well and truly hoodwinked.
Forget "waiting for a response", they need to answer for it directly. We have lost a Jedi Master... a role, who I might add, wielded seven abilities according to Beskar.
How the Dickens do we recover from losing that?

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
But presumably it is. All of a sudden I feel so much better about Sasaki. I KNEW there was something off about you not voting for either ATPG or Sasaki on day two.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
Well this seems solid.Either someone used Chaotix to take the blame.Or he is lying. Chaotix could you share with the rest of us whom this individual you mentioned could be?

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
Don't get defeatist, Secura. Plenty of ways to win a mafia game.

or they attacked Methos without knowing he was Mace Windu. Seeing as they could kill a Jedi master, they decided to attack Beskar.

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
Chaotix must be referring to the person that Beskar thought was Yoda. We need information on this.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
I am not going to reveal the name of my contact. Beskar revealed he was a master, and we see where that got him.
Beskar, as a Master that was susceptible to the Dark Side, was utterly untrustable. As far as I know, the master I am in contact with had other abilities, and more than Beskar did. I believe he may have been trying to remove Beskar's ability to vigilante-kill so he could not turn- but did not realize he was actually going to be attacked.

You'll reveal that name to me, and I'll be lynched today instead. Otherwise:

Well in that case im sorry to say this but i guess we just have to lynch you. Vote: Chaotix

Ah. And now I am the next scapegoat.
Do you realize that if I reveal the protector, then he WILL BE KILLED? Do you want the protector to be killed?
You are all being incredibly irrational. If I didn't know better, I'd call scum on all of you.

This is utter carp.
Beskar was completely immune to the Dark Side as long as he didn't kill anyone; even a single night kill would make him susceptible, but until then, he was clean... it was town tunnel logic that made him untrustable, and now look what's happened, we're down a major power role.
Beskar had eight abilities until one was stolen from him by the Sith, so if you're saying that your contact has eight or more abilities... has this not raised any alarms for you? If you thought Beskar was untrustworthy, what makes this target so valid and believable?
Beskar is dead now, who is going to answer for that? Because he says it's you, and all I see is someone passing the buck to someone that they can't name.

You do know that you currently doomed yourself?
Btw, if you don't want to reveal this name in public then reveal this to me since I am confirmed townie.

You do know better. I need to die at some point or else I will simply be recruited, that's a fact. I will die by the lynch this game, there's no way I'm getting murdered.
Since I am on my way out, and I was proven last round not to be a Sith by the guy who just got murdered by them, you can tell me and I can go verify your story with this person, to prove that you aren't lying.
If no such person exists and confirms your story, you die. Otherwise I die in your place. That's how I'm playing this, as it is the one useful function I can actually perform.

Well if the protector does not protect when he says he does that and causes deaths by that.He is either incompetent or scum. These kind of risks we cant afford to just shrug off.

How about some attention for Niklas as well...

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
I highly doubt this other person had as many abilities I did. I only had them through pure fluke. I got 3 hits of the Holocron.
What is also strange, the Mafia's powers seem to work like a wave. They get stronger and stronger till they hit a point. You got some one using Force Grip, then Force Lightning and then Force Current.

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
Look, I really don't want to be lynched right now, and the rest of you really, really don't, either. You can back off now and investigate me later, or you can lose this game today.

Well, a lynch on you who was meant to be arranging my protection is a far better bandwagon on a random target. It is probably for the best to reveal this protector. I doubt they will reveal themselves.

With this post, you've claimed a power role. If you're pro-town, you've made yourself a mafia target. Might as well start talking because getting the town on your side is probably the only way you'll stay alive.

I agree with this, actually.
Ibn-Khaldun is dead, he isn't allowed to reveal it to the town, but he can verify it by that person approaching him directly or Chaotix telling him and Ibn doing it himself.
Currently though, Beskar is dead, I'm majorly peeved and someone has to answer for it; he was promised protection and didn't get it.

Your stubbornness only makes you look more scummy. Did the "protector" tell you yet why he did not protect as promised?
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
There is always a bright side, you can get your protector to protect you, if you are town. So no harm in revealing, is there?
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [In Play]
So we're all scum for accusing him, and if we lynch him we'll lose the game, but he won't tell us anything.
Perhaps Chaotix felt he'd been got over that sith holocron stuff (whatever that was) and decided to blow his cover by killing beskar.

I believe Chaotix's story for now, and I will get a clarification from the defender before the round is over. If I don't hear back from them, I'll put my vote back on Chaotix.
