Anyway, this was just day one, we (well, YOU GUYS who voted classic) :) god back luck on a random vote, pretty much as can be expected. Lets not despair. We have some promising info on the identities of 2-3 players.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Can't anyone read where my location is? You guys are absolutely brilliant. I am hoping for a mafia victory for you guys lynching a guy who could never respond to the charges. Excellent work guys.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]

Do you even have any idea what happened the last 2 pages?
I gave up my source, and his accusations were accurate. I also got another player to claim. The question now is was the source randomly guessing to push a lynch or is he legit?
I suggest you read the thread before coming in here and making blind threats, it makes you look very suspicious. As if you have a vig or murder ability.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
You are still alive.
I don't blame you for the debacle last round. They know we have been talking.
If anyone has the doctor skill pls PM me.
Also, I would very much appreciate someone to protect WarMan, myself or DCMort tonight.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
I'm just a easy person to lynch, that's all. :dizzy2:

Less than an hour left for your orders.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Again the musician sat down and soon his voice and music was heard throughout the chalet:
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/TVwkS6AcszY?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/TVwkS6AcszY?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="25"></object>
Three of the men were sitting in one of the lounge areas, playing a card game, "Fives and Threes", and obviously one of them was winning all the time as his laughter only got louder while the others cursed him for his incredibly good luck.
"Impossible!", one of the men cried out when Mr. Johhog revealed his latest hand and laughed out again. For a while it really seemed like the three of them were able to forget the situation they were in and they looked just like a bunch of old friends enjoying an evening together.
It wasn't long though before one of them felt his nerves tingle at something he saw out of the corner of his eye.
"There look!", he cried out and even though it was a little dark in the room, not easy to make out who was who, they all could clearly see the dark figure, hiding where he was pointing, near the other exit of the room. Quickly the figure lifted up a silenced pistol and aimed straight at the lucky Mr. Johhog. A suppressed shot was heard and Johhog closed his eyes, bracing for the impact and moments later he hit the ground, a small hole in his forehead, a pool of blood forming around his head. The other two immediately rushed over to the exit but the killer was gone and they only found a little piece of paper where he was standing:
This old man, he played three
He played knick knack victoriously
With a knick knack paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home
In the morning they were all called to the dining hall again, visited by a clearly disturbed Thomas Ladislaus DeLaney and a jovial as ever Alex Taylor Paul Grearson. DeLaney looked at a sheet of paper he had held on to for so long it was crumpled between his fingers and then spoke up: "Alright. It seems like our poor Elroy Johhog has passed away yesterday while playing an innocent game of cards. Let us not allow this death to be in vain. Find the murderers!"
It is now DAY 2!
Voting closes tomorrow, Friday, 11 P.M. CET / 5 P.M. US Eastern. Votes after the deadline will not be counted, unless there is a tie. If there's a tie the first vote to break it after the deadline decides.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
We're certainly losing what sounds like some powerful roles
I want fewer lurkers, though, it's hard to get an impression when half of the players are almost mutes... Vote: Seon. I don't think I've seen you since I last poked you!

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Also: WOG-WARNING for ELITEOFKWARMAN88GINGERBREADMAN. If you don't place a vote during this phase you are eligible for the WOG.

And then a doctor was killed. Hmmm.
Vote: MRD

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
I wish I could say if I did PM him or not, but I suppose that would be against the rules? Take a look at Nightbringer. He is giving me scummy vibes.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
You can't reveal anything private after your death.
-
Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
But I can contribute and scumhunt with public knowledge?
-
Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Yes, as much as you want. You can talk about anything that is already public knowledge, which means, it has been mentioned in this thread.

I always seem to give everyone scummy vibes. :)
I'm sorry you died so soon and I hope you will come back and play with us again.
However, you post is throwing me into a loop about MRD. You would likely be pointing towards him, or simply not towards another candidate, if you had revealed to him last night. This makes me think you in fact did not reveal to him, and as such I will unvote
I am going to go back to my vote:B_Ray
please sir, speak up and give us your opinion.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
I will most likely try another game, perhaps a larger one. Well, B_ray is actually also scummy. Also don't forget that Dcmort is neutral, you can't count on him.
-
Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
I'll keep my vote where it is for now.
-
Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Doc never contacted me.
What is likely is that someone either knew who he was through scans or PM claims. Or it was a really dumb vigilante.
I know of one role blocker and one bodyguard.
If anyone has picked up a scan that indicates someone is a musician please let me know or make it public
All three murders have been completely different. I think the drumsticks and narcotics could be the same guy, but the silenced pistol reeks of another killer and possibly a vigilante

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Your attempt to get players to reveal to you here is troubling to me. Exactly what qualifies you to be at the center of this little network you're setting up?
-
Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Tratorix, I understand your concern about town networks (I was a periphery part of the recent Midgardsaga III network that accomplished nothing), but I really don't see how anyone could think MRD is scum right now. MRD's been the most useful player in the game so far. He's publicly defended one pro-town role and one neutral who at least seems to be supporting us. And he did so when they were both facing lynch possibility. If he's scum, then he's either doing a terrible job of allowing his biggest threats to get lynched, or he's building a fantastic cover for himself.
Having said that, I don't have any good suspects to suggest. I'm inclined to get rid of lurkers, since they don't really contribute much to the game regardless of which side they're on, but I'm not keeping tabs on posting frequencies.

You're right! I should vote for someone who's not being very helpful. Unvote, Vote: B Ray
That was a lot of words you used to say you don't have any useful information.

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Hey TLD I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be getting result PM's or not but if I could get them it would be much appreciated

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
Oi, Vote: Nightbringer.
I am inclined to agree with Johhog. Being the second person to vote against MRD is totally not your style...

Re: A Country for Old Men [In Play]
I recieved a PM from a busdriver.
I was the target of the assasination last night. I was bus drived with Johhog. He blessed off on me revealing this information.
While the act is appreciated, I had protection and will likely continue to have protection, and it got our Doc killed :P. I am not, however, going to reveal who the BD is.
I strongly suggest for lynch candidates people look at others who are very quick to point fingers. It can only be attributed to inexperience so much before it become suspect. And as much as I hate to say this, the first person to suggest Classical Hero is my top suspect. It may have been completely random, I understand that, but someone has to bleed. So unless we can kill a lurker, we need a plan.
