I don't see how a couple of protections are worth that whole "redacted" thing, it sounds like you're making up tales as you go to cover your posterior.

EDIT: Whilst I'm not ruling out Montmorency being scum (cue him being a Don), I do think his story is more plausible than most people are presenting it - revealed doctors don't tend to last long, which presumably would be the reason for the 'redacting.' Montmorency, I apologise if this post gets you even more votes due to a Communist defending you.

Well, that's because I am. I protected Sasaki alone, for example. The Craterus protection, I did not do. I did, however, get a result email for it for some reason (I did nothing N4). Ask Andres about that: I'm CCed with him.

Doctor is a testable claim.

I don't think doctors can attack like he said n2, and I don't think any of the protectees were attacked to lead to a promotion.

Hmm, that's interesting - I missed his claim that he attacked ATPG. Looking back at the write-up, it seems it was just a single attacker - Montmorency, would you like to elaborate on your actions that night?

EDIT: Can wiseguys successfully pull off solo attacks?

Wiseguys can never pull off a successful attack solo. That is why I've been doing them to establish my whereabouts. There's no way you people would let me survive as a wiseguy otherwise.

If Monty attacked someone solo, he's likely a wiseguy, because townies risk death when they do that.

Pizza was complaining that everyone in the vig group on him had bailed, so I solo attacked him.

According to Pizza, someone in his PT group actually received a promotion because of me. :smug:

Which night? IIRC the promotions were due to actual vigilante teams who attacked me. Not sure if a solo wiseguy would trigger that. N2 was it? I was being attacked by an actual group, one I put together.

Looking at the N2 write-up, only one person attacked you.

Ok looked back and what was extremely unusual was the group I put together wasn't in the writeup at all.

Did Seamus forget? Let me check my notes. There should have been a full group.

Yes, I can now confirm there was a group of 5 vigilantes I ordered to attack me that night.

Not one appeared in the writeup and I believe all of them sent the orders.

As such, Seamus omitted them all from the writeup. That protection functioned due to a full group attack, I'm 100% sure of it.

But what I said is true. There is a missing vig group in the N2 writeup. The protection probably functioned because of that.

My reading of the rules is that a wiseguy can join protection groups, functioning as a Townie, but cannot become a Doctor. So if you were protecting someone by yourself, you ran the risk of being killed or outed. Was there some reason you tried to do a solo protect?

I didn't expect Sasaki to be attacked, I protected him because I had nothing better to do. I was discussing vig groups with Sasaki that evening, but then he went offline and I had no other commitments.

To get something more than just focus on Montmorency this round.

doctors can attack ppl anyway but he now claims hes not a doctor.
whats strange however is that he claims he protected you on his own and then says cuz i am to the ishmael alluding that he might be a doctor. also that he gets credits for a protection he never did according to himself is weird, but it might be due Seamus making a mistake or due some red text? i dont know...
