Great news, thanks guys for all your hard work on this.:2thumbsup:
Ok I've been meaning to ask this since 1.1 was released.
Is it worth it for me to install it and stop my 1.0 campaign at 220 BC as Romani? I'd love to try out the new features but I'd like to know if the differences (esp. Roman) are worth the hassle.
How much room do you have on your computer?
No, it's not worth it. You'll have wasted all that time you spent getting the Romans to 220 BC. That's over 200 turns!Quote:

Space is not a problem.Quote:

Edit: Oh! 100th post!
Is it possible to make a patch which can be added to EB 1.0 to make it into EB1.1 because i don't want to wait ages for the full EB1.1 v download.
General Aetius
Wow! Aleardy? Thanks alot!!!
EB have been one of my favorite games of all time. I have truly learned alot and I have had toooooooons of fun. I hope you feel truly proud of yourselves now when EB is FINAL. I love you guys!
No. If it were possible, they would have done it. Too many changes for a patch.Quote:

Until then, just finish off your 1.0 campaign.
Woohoo!
It's now possible to recruit Sardinian archer-spearmen-skirmisher-type dudes! Sardinia doesn't feel empty anymore!
Thank you EB team!
I noticed this little tid-bit which has me a bit concerned. Does this mean my v1.0 AS game which is nearing turn 400 is doomed to crash?Quote:

Sounds good. Very, very good. And I mean, very good.
However I'll have to wait until a direct download link becomes available. I'll suffer, but survive. 1.1's gonna be worth it.
Downloading now! Thanks! :2thumbsup:
And I was just planning to come back to EB after some time...
Uninstalled everything to get a clean start. Now, installation errors :wall:
There already is. Search for Tosa Inu's post.Quote:

Well it took me three attempts, but I finally got it downloaded successfully. I tried twice without using a bitorrent program, but it would only partially download and suddenly stop. The bitorrent was about five times faster downloading as well. One question, did 1.1 make any changes with formations? Does anyone think adding the DarthMod formations for EB would be worth it?

Great work guys, I am going to install it right now!
... Aaaaand the link's dead, again.
WTH? :inquisitive:
Just wondering if the Factions-section on the homepage will be updated with the new units from EB1.1.
It would be interesting to see what new units the factions will recieve, and which are Eleutheroi/local units.
Will this happen soon, or will I just have to find out by playing?
Greetings people,
I just downloaded it from the Org, it's 219.3 MB, is this correct, as I remember V1.0 as being larger?
Once again thank you for the update of this lovely mod! :) Here's another stupid question from me.. how do i get the new Saka intro movie to work? I did download the Codec that was suggested here somewhere but I still don't get any movies at all. Could it be because i'm running it with BI? In that case i'll just stop worrying about it. I mostly just ask in case there's some easy solution. :D
Btw, I finally survived the first 10 years of a Saka campaign! I started with them because I wanted to see the intro. It's great fun, and very strange.. this migration stuff is like a whole new game!
it's placed in here so you can still have a look (without starting the game)Quote:

Aaah yes, I added that -nm bit to the BI shortcut as part of the instructions. I even knew it removes the movies, I had just forgotten it was there! Thanks a billion Sassem! *bows*Quote:

Some factions harder, some perhaps easier. But in any case the difference between VH battle and M battle is in EB a lot more apparent than it apparently used to be in Vanilla. So that might've made all the difference back then?
