Match with glyphz started.
I have been fortunate enough to best pevergreen in both our games.
I'm willing to play as an alternate.
Really? I must be lost..I know I lost the first match with a Suicide King rush...but isnt the second game still in play?

I just got absolutely decimated.
glyphz and I will conclude tomorrow. Game 2 is currently postponed due to chess.com being offline and then me going to sleep.
glyphz is leading 1-0 currently and in a good position to win Game 2.

Nice game indeed Stephen:2thumbsup:
Martok and I are still on our first game, since we seem to miss each other for a few times in a row. But we'll get there, eventually.
If anyone wants to play friendly game I'm bored and looking for something to do...
Here's the result of the first game between Martok and myself. It had a very interesting midgame!

Wasp has officially won the first game. Now I gotta take a break to go clean up and eat something before I play our second match.
EDIT: Yeah, it was pretty balanced there for a while. In the end, though, I couldn't overcome my mistakes in the early game.
I'm free for games. Except for you, Stephen! :clown:
I need more practice before I challenge you again. :smash:
Any one interested in a game now. My name on chess.com is the same as it is here.
Csargo (Ichigo) defeated me in a sidebar game a short while ago, and I have an open game against one PhilT57. This Phil fellow appears to me to be winning. We're in a war of attritition, but he's gained a half move on me as black, not a good sign for my white pieces.
If theres no one to replace, I'll volunteer. I've defeated Ichigo a few times already, so I believe that should at least qualify me.
That went faster than I expected. I've done a few of the blitz and quick games to try to punch up my VERY rusty skills a bit. My blitz score was down in the low 800s, but I think I've spalled off some of the rust.
Sorry, I just reviewed which one you meant. I resigned in three moves because the wife needed me and blitz doesn't wait. It was a non-score because I resigned so soon after starting.
Here's the second game between Martok and myself. Martok, thanks for two interesting games! Perhaps we can play again sometime?

-edit- I'd like to take this space to advertise Pirate Ship Mafia, what promises to be a Huge, epic mafia game with an element of individual competition. Make sure to stop by, you'll have a great time.
Glyphz beat me in the first game, probably the most fun i've ever had in chess, i think i was winning at one point, but then defence, then defence, then stupid move and loss.

Game 2 with pevergreen in the works. http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=10616386
Pever played a good solid opening as white, with me trying to keep up in Game 1, leading to a stand-off between the 4 center pawns, with bishop escorts, for center supremacy. :duel:
Also, Game 2 with The General turned into a bloody struggle. I thought I had a fair advantage, after taking the queen, but it actually didn't amount to much as he continued to put pressure on my side of the board, and inflicted more casualties to my men than I would like.
Certainly had my hands full tonight.
