I thought him dead on the field, but if this is true I will offer you 250 Florins for his safe return, instead of handing him over to the town magistrate to be executed.

If this offer is acceptable, pick two of your men and deliver my man and his standard to the crossroads near my hunting grounds on Friday evening. A company of my men will then hand them my 'gift' of 250 florins to you for giving him such fine accomodation these last few days.

I hope that you will see that this offer is more beneficial to you than revenge through the execution of my man. What say you?

Octavian, I had a short test of that map attacking against the computer. Using only one catapult I managed to do reasonably well. I see you have geared your army towards light and fast skirmishing rather than heavy hand-to-hand stuff, but I would think you could manage to get at least into the outer ring and pillage those buildings.

Give it a try (what do you have to loose?). If it turns out you are screwed indeed, there will be more missions for you with differently weighted odds.
