hmmmm is the .org uploader broken again? Whenever I try to download a file it comes up with a screen of code...

It's because it isn't zipped. Just copy the file and paste it directly into your M2TW Teutonic save file. It will show. I went through the same thing with my one Crusade turn I played a few days ago.

It won't even let me download the file, I never zip my saves anyway for hotseat. For me this link: http://www.totalwar.org/patrons/pbm/2Teutonic-1-4.sav turns out as a web page that looks like this:

Edit: code no longer needed and problem fixed

I had exactly the same problem — when using Firefox for my web browser.

I opened in it Windows Explorer and had no problem.

Yeah, I use firefox. I was still able to save it directly to my save folder. If I was at home, I'd do it and tell you step by step. Or you could just do what Doug said which seems a lot easier.

Ok, you can still use firefox. Just click the link and it will go to a new tab. Go to the tab. Then "save as", and find your Teutonic save folder. It should be good and you should find it as a savegame when you enter your Teutonic Campaign.

Yes using internet explorer worked, strange, this has never happened before...

no it wasn't the zip file, I have downlaoded my own unzipped files and others without problem. It is funny as when it was the uplaoder that broke it showed exactly what it does now, probably just something wrong with firefox.

Ok, bad joke. The Kingdoms files are so small, they don't need to be zipped. If it saves people from having to do an extra step, I won't zip the file.

Or with Windows. While I don't think Microsoft is the kingdom of the wicked or that Gates is Satan. However, I don't imagine that Microsoft worries much about Firefox compatibility when they patch Windows. I've noticed the same sort of problems with other websites.

Yeah, sorry but I'm at that school-type place where I need to have a couple dozen pages typed up by tomorrow afternoon. So I won't get to the save for another 7-9 hours or so. :dizzy2:

~:eek: 10? Wow, they're tough on junior members. Well, posting in places like this is a good way to get membership status(and at least one mod frequents these forums). Try posting a bit, and you should get a much more respectable PM box(mine is 120 max).

Not replying is fine, and ignoring diplomatic missives(or taking time to consider them) is a strategy itself, I was just a bit worried that you hadn't posted here since that first day. :yes:

One solution to expand your inbox is simply to ask the mod (Econ21) making reference to your taking part in this PBM and the necessary PM exchanges ...

I did it and my limit expanded exponentially...
