I dunno. That's the sort of problem you only face against well established, big and rich empires. However check the changelog of the annoucement to see what difference EB 1.1 to mercenaries makes.
Haven't seen the beta testers complaining about merc full stacks or sth., though.
Last I heard the merc replenishement rates were set so low that while you might indeed occasionally run into an all-merc stack (ie. the AI's "bought out" the contents of a pool or two) it's going to take a fair while before they're again available in any numbers...
The link to mizus.com download leads to a page that says "Forbidden 404," and that I don't have permission to enter. It didn't 18 hours ago! (my download was interrupted)
Just wanted to say HUGE thank you to the EB team! :balloon2: :balloon2: :2thumbsup: :balloon2: :balloon2:
Only downside to 1.1 being released is that the novel I'm writing about Antiochus the Great is going to take even longer for me to finish since i'm going to play EB even more now :sweatdrop:
Yeah, I'm having the same problem with the direct download. Hope it's something that's not too difficult to fix. Good luck!Quote:

What does that mean:
So, as a Roman player, shouldn'y I build Roman barracks there? Why?Quote:
* Don't place Roman barracks in Ariminum when player is Romani.
Any screens of the first cohort?
EB team, my thanks is as follows:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
That's all you need from someone of my status, continue with your work :whip:
:smug:
Where can I find out, where to find the new units and what faction/area they belong to?
It means the campaign script helps the AI Romani by placing a barracks there, while you as Romani player have to build it.Quote:

Hey guys, I finally got around to downloading the mod (tried on Tuesday but it got corrupted), and it's great! By the way, I love the terms of agreement: "by downloading this mod, you agree to read more history" :laugh4: Thank you EB team, we will always appreciate your hard work! :2thumbsup:
Two new download links added.
again you prove to be the masters of modding!
can't wait to start a new campaign...
hail the emperor!
Great !!!!
:laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4:
Thank you EB team for all your hard work...I cant thank u enough:bow: :balloon2:
out of curiosity, does 1.1 have numbered legions? if so how many?
Did you add the new units to the unit lists on the EB homepage? Would be great!
Yes, there are numbered legions in EB (for the Marian and Augustan Eras) and I don't think there is a limit to the numbers...
The EB webmaster is a bit busy right now, but the new unit should be up some time.
Before I play 1.1, do I still need to install the Disaster patch?
Nope, all of the v1.0 fixes are part of v1.1.Quote:

Amended the announcement, as we forgot to thank Haile Satanus for helping with three of our newest units.
Hey EB guys or whoever can, why don't you update the Wikipedia page? Current version is still shown as 1.0 at the top. And you could also add all the nice extra info :)
well, i just installed EB v1.1, and its AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love those dacian agema guys! getai FTW!
I am new to mods, I just downloaded 1.0 EB, haven't really gotten a chance to play it as I'm waiting for my new video card to come in the mail. Do I need to delete the 1.0 version before installing the new one? THanks, and i look forward to playing!
You need a clean install of RTW 1.5 to install 1.1, so uninstall 1.0 first.
is 1,5 a separate download
It depends - start RTW (vanilla) and click options, and then look at the version number. The patches go:
1.0 / 1.1 -> 1.2 / 1.3 (BI) -> 1.5 / 1.6 (BI)
Just download and install any patches you are missing. Every separate step (marked by the arrows) is necessary (i.e. install 1.2 or 1.3 before 1.5 or 1.6) but different patches presented in the same step are not (e.g. from 1.2 you can go straight to 1.5).
Um, you don't install all the patches in order, because it causes problems. You only need 1.3, 1.5 and if you're using BI, 1.6.Quote:

Is the proper way to install it like this -
- Rome Vanilla
- Rome BI
- Patch 1.5
- EB 1.1
I cant remember how i did it last time :inquisitive:
Thanks!
