Everyone please feel free to point out if I miss or mis-attribute a vote on your part.

Haven't been up-to-date since morning. Will catch up later. I know there are only 7 hours till EoD, but I'm not really feeling it today.

EOD is still 19 hours away. 1200h PST (2000h UTC/GMT)

Re: Small Mafia Game: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords
Thank goodness! I got scared for a second.
Reading this thread in a fever haze isn't very productive.

Oh man. Sorry you're feeling bad.

I don't mind this vote actually

Lets stay on topic folks, this game is going to fill enough pages already, it doesn't need help :P

Yeah but they were in the moment discussing it? Why wouldn't Renata have a reaction at the time of the discussion? Why is it scummy in the moment? I think it would be more scummy if a length of time passed before, but it seemed like a reasonable reaction to what was going on in thread.

Re: Small Mafia Game: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords
I don't find Winston scummy or unscummy yet. Nothings really there yet.
Not a big fan of DP's "Winston is town, obvs!" when it clearly is not Obvs.

Visor says he likes this vote.
I like the reasoning, but I don't like the timing. Feels like trying to disengage from a dangerous situation.

Why do you find my statement the only thing worth jumping on? Also, why do you think that a length of time passing would make it more scummy?

I think you're confusing jumping with commenting and questioning.
Length of time matters IMO because a reaction within a discussion, particularly at this shallow stage of the game, indicates less thought being put into the vote and more of a reaction. Scum is more likely to think about what they do and less likely to simply react or switch.
Either way though I haven't decided about Renata (fairly torn actually), but your aggressiveness is concerning.

Besides I know you, Getting more of a reaction from you means more for my reads than getting a reaction from someone i don't know well enough yet.

What about my aggressiveness do you find concerning? I don't think I am normally particularly aggressive as either alignment, so not sure why you think that it is AI.

I don't like this post at all, it sounds like what a scum would say if they wanted to defend a scumbuddy and go after the one attacking them. What do you mean, would have found something else by now? It's been a few pages, and it's still day 1, there's not much to go on.

I would say that coming at me with ,pointely accusatory questions and not answering my questions or responding to my comments is decidedly aggressively defensive.
I confess that your following comment:

I agree you about disliking DP's vote. I also think though that it could also be as scum defending someone who is town and buddying up. It ties into DP's decision that Winston is obvtown, which again I don't think is obvious. In either case, I find his reactions to be suspicious too.

Well, first, like Lewwyn said, you could also be a scumbuddy defending a townie for buddying points and townpoints if Winston flips town. I also think you look scummier than Winston right now, and I think that you wolf/Winston town is more likely than you town/Winston wolf.
In any case, if you're both scum, why does it matter which one of you I decide to vote for? I need to lynch both of you, and he only had one vote on him and was getting lots more attention than you.

Visor-Renata still sounds good. DP probably wouldn't take the risk of putting her into the lead as partner.

Someone enterprising should cross-check this sentiment against the last game and its low-poster narratives.

I woke up this morning thinking I was probably being too easy on Dp, and I would like to see this answered.

I came into this game with the deliberate decision before I ever saw my role PM to stomp all over my town personality in one specific way I noticed I had problems with in my scum game on MU last week. And then I see myself getting rousing town reads from two of the more influential players in the game anyway, and it's not likely both of them are scum trying to pocket me. So go figure.
As for stray votes day one, I get them every single game. I've literally never not. Yet everyone seems to believe I obvtown myself within ten seconds whenever I am town, and hold it against me when I don't. See Dp this game, if he's not scum looking for a pockety way to jump on the biggest bandwagon. I need that to stop.
