hmmmm. perhaps you mean that the battle ends in all cases after three battles? then it would mean that you have to win both attacking and defending when you loose on IB?

I guess that's what you meant, then. but I understood something else from your initial post on this matter.. well np.

one bad thing about this, is the battle on IB. who will defend it? you might think it does not mean much, but if both players decide to be defensive the battle doesn't end, so the defender has an advantage. another advantage for the defender is the larger deploy zone. so what will decide who plays defender on IB?

we could do it with the 1st person in each group is defender.
The attacker still gets weather n season choice.

And we can also draw names randomly to see who gets which spot.

If there were more players.
we could construct a play off then the 4 best qualifiers "seeded" would be given the opertunaty to defend 1st.
Then the rest would fall in to line in acordance
But we dont have enough players, So theres no point in discussing that option :)

When are we thinking of a start date for the tourney.

Still haven't got STW or an internet connection at home. These are musts to compete so when are we thinking of starting so I have a deadline to work towards.

Were ok for a while there dosent seem to be many applications.

Ok we need to fix the rules here.

How are we going to play?

Do we play ironing board 1st... Then moove on to a players home province?

or do we start on a pre defined terrain Then moove to the ironing board as a tie breaker?

for those who wernt following the other thread.
i will run therough the basics of both methods.

----
we could play on 3 pre defined terrains As we did i the last tourny.
with a best of 3 format.
I.E
1st round played at. 4th K, 1 match attacking, 1 match defending.
And in the event of a tie A decider is played on the ironing board.
Then on the second tound we play at Totomi, again 1 match defending , the other attacking With a tie breaker on the ironing board if needed.

OR.

We could Have all contestants Either chose a map they would like as a home province, or make there own terrain
(a map pack could be made 4 the tourny)
That would be 8 diferent terains.
Then we would Start on the ironing board.
and who ever looses falls back to there home provnce,
then inf they win whilst defending, the final battle would be played on there opponents home province.

the maps selected by conestants and ones made by contestants Would not be neciseraly alocated to the player who chose or made it,

Infact the maps will be asigned to the starting blocks of the tourniment board...


this is how it would work

All the submited terains would be assesed on ther dificulty to attack.
(similar maps would be requered All can be really horrible to attack on or all can be easy to attack on)
Some maps will be undoubtedly more dificult to attack on.

the 4 most dificult terrains for attacking on will be asigned to the Second block out of each section.

the subsiquent remaining maps will be randomly asigned to the 1st bloack of every group.

Players will be randomly alocated which block they start in.

The player who is in the 1st block of each group. gets to defend on the ironing board In the 1st match.
doing it like this means.:
The fact that defenders have an advantage in battle, gets ballanced out by the fact the attacker has a better province to defend from if he looses his attack on the ironing board.

I hope this makes sence.

I really like the "home Province" idea.

who ever wins wins.... lol

4 groups of 2 blocks.
1 contestant in each block,
the players play best of 3 (so 2 wins needed to proceed) the winer of each group proceeds to the next round, in the second round there are 2 groups of 2 blocks.
1 contestant in each block,
again 2 wins needed to proceed.
the 2 winners then proceed to the finals.
