Got a 5 feet long sword. The blade itself is 4 feet.
The chap who ordered it to be made picked a smith who normally makes scimitars and the like, and he didn't know much about straight swords, so he messed up the hilt, made it too think....but still, it's pretty nice.

The Third Reich at War, by Richard J. Evans. Some nice light, fluffy reading for winter break.
If I was going to brag, I did spend Christmas with three good looking Japanese girls who were all single (and sisters).
"The Victors", "Pegasus Bridge" and "Band of Brothers" by Stephen Ambrose, "The Third Reich - A Chronicle" by Richard Overy, a 23" monitor and a calendar.
Only thing I deem worth mentioning:
The Princess Bride by S. Morgenstern.
What else could a mafia player want?
ps: Holy smoke, theres some decent backstory to Inigo and Fezzik and everyone. Thankfully the guy who wrote the abridged version (only one in print apparently) also wrote the screenplay for the movie, so reading the book does not ruin the movie, and the other way around (eg harry potter movies. Terrible, terrible movies)

A pair of shoes from my sister. I always respond jokingly when asked by my parents what I want for Christmas. I tell them a box full of money. Well guess what I got this year.... :beam:
T-shirts. Recipe book. A Vonnegut book (Cat's Cradle) and a Philip K. Dick book (A Scanner, Darkly). Two lots of deodorant --- do I smell or something?!

Cheap rifle is about $75. Generally I see them for anything between $250-$750. Pistols have a smaller gap but i haven't seen one (btw im not counting .22) cheaper than about $150, and the price can stretch onto about $600.
Then you have your collector rifles which can get up into the ten's of thousands, though the most common ones probably go from about 750-2500.
Did not receive any presents this year. We decided with wife that this year we don't make any gifts.
What I got for Christmas? Clothes, a casserole, a frying pan and two bags of coffee.... And I was overjoyed!
