Basis:

I will give choices for each nation to make. These do not need to be followed, and you are free to make your own choices. Pm the choices to me, or you can make them public and post them here. Once all of these choices are in, I shall make a chapter out of them. If said chioces lead to a battle, I will compute army strength, quality, and terrain to determine what army will win.

I will need each joining player to post information about the current army size. If you are moving troops, note the percentage of your army that is being moved. Population will be increased every turn by 1 percent. If your army size exeeds 10 percent of your population total, you face riots and other signs of civil unrest.

Everybody is neutral at the beginning.


As it is a fantasy interactive, there will be Dragons and all that stuff.

What might be necessary is to add some more identity and detail to this land and the different nations sharing it. Currently these countries are nothing but colours, numbers and names. Colours, numbers and names do not make an interesting interactive history. The world needs to be vibrant, full with detail and differences. Also the different factions will need to know more about their armies and if they have distinct strengths and weaknesses etc.

I agree with Ducky, you need to tell us what races live in the certain countries. How strong the armies are, what orientation they have etc etc.
Never rush IH, they take time, loads of time, but it's better to make 1 very good one then 5 average ones

Rumors Of War:

In The northern middle-lands, there are rumors of war spreading. This Rumor is usally disregarded as nonsense, but many will argue that untill the sky turns green and the grass turns red.

In the lands of the west, rumors of the sort are also spreading, although these are more usually believed.

How is the consistency of the armies decided? For example what decides the ratio of different troop types? Say I have 15 000 men, but does this mean I can decide that I have 2 500 heavy cavalry, 4 000 light cavalry and 8 500 infantry? Or are the ratio of troop types decided by you?

Also what is the practical meaning of elves/dwarves/camels/elephants?
How are navies incorporated and do some factions have a starting navy?

Can I change my faction to Elesmar? If it is already taken then I will keep my orignal.

A letter to Prince Nasir

Hopefully my falcon has arrived in time and it is still not too late. Grave times are ahead of us. The Emperor of Sollia has deceived and betrayed us, my brother. He has joined the Thorians in hope to conquer the lands of Temil and Caleim.

After finding out the deception of the Sollians, whom have warned the Thorians about our impending attack, I, Emperor Khalid II of Caleim, I'm sending you new orders, my dear brother Nasir. I sense that treachery and deception run deep in the mountains of Thoria. My army pushed on towards Sohma, only to find the once prosperous land ravaged and the beautiful city of Sohma incinerated. It seems that our foes are both determined and foolish in their struggle. Don't they see that their greater good lies in accepting the benevolent rule of the Caleimian Empire? I only wish there was some way to restore the prosperity of Sohma and its countryside. I will have to confer with my advisors. Hopefully they will have the answers I'm looking for.

My spies in the Mountains of Thoria have recognised a massive Sollian army moving together with the Thorian army. It seems the Sollians intend to oppose us and help the Thorians. I do not believe that our combined forces of Temil and Caleim can defeat this force in the mountains nor the foothills. We need to retreat into the plains of Temil, and from there show the lumbering forces of Sollia and Thoria what mobility and firepower can do. Your orders from me dear Prince Nasir, is to ensure that Emperor of Temil retreats towards Temil to join my forces travelling there and to act as the rearguard of the withdrawing army. Our cavalry is strong and will be able to defeat any Sollian or Thorian cavalry. Do not get entangled with their infantry, because in such terrain it will only lead to defeat. Mobility, shock and firepower is the key to victory, so ensure you use it well in your coming battles. May the Gods grant you victory!
