Report for 1137:

The Templars have ceased to exist as a cohesive faction. This year, I was able to institute "phase 2" of my plan. With the Templar army drawn out of their castle last year, I was able to send spies in, open the gates, and conduct an amphibious landing. The Grandmaster of the Templars was killed in battle and the castle was occupied. While there are still armies out in the field, these have gone "rebel." The Templar Cardinal and Templar Spy in Antioch have both retired and gone home.

Armies:

Forces in Diyarbakir have been retrained the past couple years.

Lisas's Army has been formed. He already has 2 peasant archers in Trebizond. A peasant and horse archer were trained in Tbilisi. 2 town militia were taken out of Sinop and sent towards Trebizond. 2 town militia were trained in Sinop to replace the 2 that left. Taxes had to be lowered in order to keep with Pavlos's SOT.

Building:

Tortosa started a small chapel
Aleppo started a mustering hall
Bucharest started a port
Sinop started a town hall
Iconium started a small church
Adana started a castle
Tbilisi and Yerevan both started communal farming

Events:

Sold trade rights and maps to Portugal for 2000 florins.

A major earthquake struck Aleppo.

Methodios has a new daughter named Aleksandra. (OOC: I'm sure YLC will love that... )

The Moorish Jihad is just to the west of the capital. I wish the defenders luck.

Permissions:

Lisas can move the 2 town militia that are on the road in Sinop province.

Who ever is leading the Asteri army can move the 2 peasants in Iconium province.

Annios can move his army.

Stavros can move his army.

Methodios is authorized to accept or deny the Merchant Guild in Alexandria.

OOC:

I moved Ig according to his wishes. I was also able to get IK where he wanted to go. W&F did not send me orders for this turn. But, since his SOT does not prevent me from moving his avatar, I moved him towards Medina like he wanted last turn.

When you guys take the save, please make sure the guild offer survives.

I'm taking tomorrow off. The free move period will go on until Monday 9:30PM GMT. Remember, this is the last free move period of the term. Once I do my 1138 moves, we will have the 1140 Senate Session.
