wow, we have a four way deadlock. I still think YLC's vote for beskar is weird, and believe that he knows roadkill was indoctrinated and trying to use this as an excuse to vote him out.

Roadkill wasn't indoctrinated, as indicated by the blue name. So far, no indoctrinated people have died.

however ATPG has a point, if this game was the same as Mass effect there would be no fun to it, and I have a feeling you are using that as an excuse to get rid of ATPG..... for now my vote stays the same though.

My only ability just got himself killed..... Me and Beskar were able to talk over PM because of a love relationship.

YLC is correct in that lovers are sometimes comprised of town and mafia together. Seems that Beskar could choose between two... one that was townie, and one that was indoctrinated.

OK, Baskar was allowed to choose between either Roadkill or me (as we both were the females aboard the ship) whoever he chose was allowed to speak with him via PM, which was normally against the rules.

Of course, we never really got the chance to use it.....

I always found the use of ellipses (...) to be suspect, especially when they end several posts. From a psychological standpoint, it's almost like someone is emoting that they feel guilty. However it's roughly 50/50 on that.

Heh. CDF was the only one to have such a panicky reaction. It seemed fake to me.

I am not sure, you have a good point about Tiberius, but I still think that AVSM has been trying to lurk through the game. I say that AVSM should go, though I am still not sure about YLC's innocence.

Of course. You have no reason to believe I am telling the truth, but it is convenient, for sure. It gets you through another round alive, and that's all that matters.

Heh heh heh. The game isn't that complicated, though. Feigning confusion is one of the best ways to avoid having to put a solid argument together.

If it isn't a one shot ability we are screwed no matter what, we have to just assume it is.

wait a second, I just realized something, AVSM has no way of saving YLC even if he is mafia. if he votes all it does is tie it up which the flax has already said will just result in another round of voting (no night action), the best AVSM can do is deadlock it.

He voted for me, twice. His first vote was on me. If his theory was more popular, there would have been a different ending and I wouldn't be here. Well done, Tiberius. I don't count this as a loss for you, because, well.... dang. Good work.

Even post-death he tried desperately to confuse me, and I have to admit some of it was giving me doubts. However, I think I played a pretty decent townie and I gave him plenty of brain screws in return. A formidable opponent. His only true error I think was trusting Cultured Drizzt Fan.

Excellent partner award: Cultured Drizzt Fan

In a game such as this where I didn't know who my partner was or even if I still had one, or if I had one to begin with, I knew the rules. They are just like my own mafia games. The idea is to try, try, try to find your own partner. He will be interested in staying alive, and he should be super friendly towards anyone who doesn't accuse him. It happened by accident, simply because after a round or two of me not dying, and being less on people's radar the whole time, I had noted that several people didn't have me as their highest suspect. And I hadn't really voted for them. So I decided to be as friendly as possible and see who appreciated that the most.

By the end of the game, it was blatantly obvious to me that Cultured Drizzt Fan was mafia. I had suspected him in particular for over half the game (TheFlax can confirm) but at the end it was simply ridiculous. He never accused me, he always stuck by me, and the flattery which would ordinarily get you nowhere with me, indicated to me that he wanted an ally. He didn't care if I was town or mafia, he just wanted me to vote with him. I knew if I revealed and I was wrong the game could have been in jeopardy, but I didn't care. I had what seemed like an ironclad case against Cultured Drizzt Fan, and if I had been a townie, I think CDF would have gone down. I would have stated the case and voted for him and tried to get AVSM to vote for him.

However, by keeping my vote on AVSM, and declaring I was indoctrinated, I had hoped he would similarly reveal and confirm my suspicions. But what threw me was CDF's vigilant danger-detector, where he refused to reveal even when I did, assuming it was all a trick to get him to reveal his true leanings. It took some fact checking and negotiation to talk him down. I still wasn't sure, but he did vote for AVSM and so did I. Then I left for the grocery shopping and when I came back I had like 5 minutes to spare. But CDF was true to his word and AVSM hadn't voted, which made everything simple.

In the end, CDF played a brilliant game as mafia, and I deduced that he was mafia. After he claimed he wasn't mafia I had to backpedal from that position a bit, but I still believed he was a mafioso... I just had to leave open the idea that I was wrong.

Great game everyone, it has really helped me get a feel for these games. ATPG was a great partner, and I feel kind of embarrassed I was so suspicious I almost died for it. The Flax, thank you for hosting such a great game.

It was. I believe one of the Mafia had voted for you at that point and they had an equal chance of dying. Random.org just likes Beskar I guess.
