Our diplomat heading towards the Scottish capital dropped into the English court. We were politely refused two offers of land trade. The English do not seem to want to give up their possessions on the continent.
Ser Mauvoisin will be pleased to know our standing with the English did not deteriorate further from these negotiations.
Her Highness Princess Constance spent some time with the Pope and as a result increased our standing with him at this delicate time.
Speak of her Highness, there is another suitor knocking at the door so to speak.
It seems the lesser nobility are listening to our King. Dublin has been identified as a target for us. I will begin to make preparations for the invasion.

Firstly congratulations to the King for annihilating the German's who decided to relieve Antwerp.
However in response to this defeat the Holy Roman Empire is threatening the very heart of the Kingdom. A substantial force is now less than a season's ride from Paris, Metz, Rheims and Dijon. The only forces in the region are the Duc of Lorraine and the Duc of Bourgogne.
In addition to this, Staufen is now completely abandon and given the English lack of interest we should not simply let the Germans retake it.
I am considering the offer of peace for its return to them.
Recruitment has begun to increase:
Rheims: 1 x Regiment of Town Militia
Paris: 2 Regiments of Town Militia
Toulouse: 2 x Regiments of Mounted Sargents
